I would highly recommend this accommodation. For the cost, it completely exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, warm in winter and an amazing location with a short stroll to the Gion district. As a family of 6 (including grandparents in their 70s and kids aged 4 and 7 years), the place was perfect and enabled us to all have our own space.
Communication from hosts was clear and prompt.
Bathroom and shower facilities were great and quite spacious. It was a bonus to have a washing machine and drying rack.
The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but really not too bad- and the price and location far outweighed this.

Awesome location, right in the heart of Gion district
Couldn’t get in with provided key code until help was asked, beds were not very comfortable, and turned light on in kitchen and there was massive cockroach I had to spray (spray was provided)
