Fantastic customer service.

We were contacted before arriving in Milan with clear guidance about the visa process, exactly as expected. All communication was handled via WhatsApp, and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Prior to arrival, we were also provided with straightforward instructions on how to pay for the visa and how to access the property, along with reassurance that support was available via WhatsApp or telephone should we encounter any issues. Unfortunately, we were unable to complete our stay as my father became unwell early in the trip. However, the hosts went above and beyond by kindly providing vouchers for the full duration of our stay, valid for use over the next three years which we will use. This was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated, as there was no obligation for them to do so and have made the ordeal less traumatic.

The location is fantastic, the property was spotless and we loved he inclusions, including very delicious coffee were appreciated, the beds were comfortable, shower was amazing, washing machine appreciated, owner was also very helpful and friendly, we highly recommend this property !

Very bad apartment

location—it is close to the center, about a 20-minute walk away, and the walk is pleasant.

The truth is that our experience was somewhat disappointing. From the outset, they refused to allow us to check in early, even though I believe they were able to do so. It was very clear that we were extremely tired and that my children were asleep. In addition, the noise from the Tram was very disturbing, especially at night. The trash was not cleaned up even though we were told it would be, which was very annoying. We also found a nail on the kitchen floor, which caused a cut on my son's foot. This was very disturbing and unacceptable. The apartment is also quite old.

Modern apartment in Central Milan

The apartment is in a fantastic location in terms of sightseeing etc. The apartment is really clean and well furnished with excellent facilities. It is a beautiful space.

Noise and vibration of traffic and hard mattresses. Unfortunately, both my travel companion and I found the beds far too hard. A good topper would remedy this problem and would have made our stay much better. It was the main reason that my review isn't glowing as the apartment is really beautiful.

Milan Retreats is an excellent company with beautiful apartments!

We loved our stay with Milan Retreats! This company is so organized and wonderful to work with! We will absolutely use this company again. It was so easy to communicate with the company and get instructions about how to enter the building and get the keys to our room. The location was perfect!! We were so close to the Duomo and so many wonderful other sites and restaurants. The apartment was SO CLEAN, So organized, and so comfortable. We were there for three nights and would have loved to stay longer. It had wonderful wifi, washing machine, everything you need!

The location, near to the Duomo and all the places that you must visit in Milano. Clean and cozy! Jerome welcomes and sends us video with the entrance into the apartment and also a luggage deposit for free because we arrived earlier.

Not good. Couln’t sleep during the 3 nights.

There is no breakfast included. Although the location in relation to points of interest is great , the noise of the street day and night were incredible.

The bathroom is a hole in the wall and the bedroom small. The living room and the kitchen were huge, which I could’nt understand. The host was very friendly but they kept writing us in whatsapp 3 and four times a day before and during our stay. I didn’t appreciate that either.

A beautiful stay in Milan

The location is brilliant, few mins walking from Duomo Milan. Easy access to the apartment and everything was very smooth. The staff were very caring and following up on us all the time. They offered us storage for the bags till our train time. The how is clean.

The only thing is the noise of the tram and the cars

Comfortable and spacious apartment in the heart of Milan, minutes from the Doumo

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Everything looked new. The bathroom was filled with very nice soaps and lotions. I didn't use the washing machine, but it was nice to know it was in the apartment. I got texts from the management very quickly when I had questions. The location was perfect. I think we passed 5 gelato shops within a few blocks! The local bakery was really good, a small grocery store was a block away. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. We will be back!

I would prefer sending the passport and final tax payment when booking. We were traveling and had to send photos from the bus station. It was an unsecured network. But, the check in help was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Milan!

Location was great and the place was beautiful. We loved how there was a little website with recommendations and instructions on how to use the appliances.

The fuse kept blowing when we tried to use the oven, stove, and TV at the same time. The trash cans are small, and the cleaning service didn't come on the weekend so the trash built up a bit.

The location of this property was spot on, could not ask for more. the room was basic but ok, the bed was small, little firm. Only a single sheet which was not enough. It was super clean

the apartment was extremely clean and good amenities. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. i loved that the apartment is maintained and re-cleaned on day 2, and that the staff constantly check in to see if you’re all ok.

the washing machine was extremely dated and did not work, that was difficult as we had. a lot of washing from 8 people. The bathrooms also just needed the shelving racks to hang your amenities especially second bathroom as it is extremely small.

A clean, quiet pad in the heart of Milan—worth it if you can live with a cramped bathroom and a very firm bed.

Check-in was effortless thanks to the host’s crystal-clear video instructions, and the studio itself was spotless, cool, and surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. The AC kicked in fast, the lighting was bright, and stepping outside meant instant access to cafés, shops, and pharmacies. The host checked in just enough—helpful without hovering—and that rock-hard mattress actually knocked me out cold.

The bathroom is a tight squeeze: a narrow shower, a washer crammed next to the toilet, and a shelf right over the tiny sink that turns face-washing into a splashy balancing act. The bed’s firmness worked for me, but anyone who needs a softer mattress might hate it.

If visiting Milan, a safe, convenient, comfortable and affordable location would be this one.

The location (within easy walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, groceries and shopping centers and Metro! The apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The host was very caring, texting us if we needed anything. She also sent cleaning crews and change of towels every 48 hours (very much appreciated). The additional coffee items was a bonus. Thank you! We will definitely visit again.

Such a bunch of pleasant surprises!

We loved the location, found ourselves in spitting distance of the Duomo. Such a nice space with outdoor area for the buzz of the city down below. The best thing though was the staff on hand to help with all my questions about the plans we wanted to make, from parking a car and paying for emission zone passes, to planning a lake Como visit! They were truly above and beyond helpful and kind.

Difficult to unload outside and then have to bring heavy cases up to the 3rd floor with no lift. Well worth it on reaching the top though!

Amazing Place and Staff

The property is huge, good if you are a group/family of about 6-8. Metro within 5 mins walk, The building is located at a high street with lots of shops, bakeries and restaurants. Duomo/center is about 20-25 minute walk. Staff is very responsive to messages from pre-check in to checkout. Inside is modern kitchen with all you need for eating/cooking. The sofa beds in the living room can be converted into two double beds. Then there is a bedroom with two single beds and another two bedrooms with a double bed. Very spacious.

Very minor - the washing machine could do an upgrade with dryer or a bigger unit. But if you are only staying for couple of nights in Milan/Italy, this shouldn’t be a problem. For us we needed to do our laundries since we stayed in Italy for about three weeks and in Milan only for two nights

Great apartment

The apartment is in a great location and in walking distance to Piazza del Duomo. The apartment itself is lovely and has everything you need for a stay. It was very hot when we went and the apartment had air conditioning but they also provided a fan as well which was needed in the heat. The check in process was easy as the host sent instructions and videos on how to enter the property before we arrived. The host had great communication, giving us recommendations on places to eat and checked in on us throughout our stay. When we next visit Milan again we will definitely be staying again.

Great Base for Exploring Milan

Pleasant stay with my family.

So many reasons to like this stay. The location is perfect—within walking distance of many shops and eateries. The tram station is very close, yet it's not too noisy where we are located. The apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with essentials and cutlery. On our 2nd night stay, we were offered housekeeping and a change of towels. There is no view from the apartment, just street side but not facing the main road. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for my family.

The wash sink doesn't drain well. No Netflix on TV.
