Dreadful- total disregard of our complaints.

The location was good.

The building work being completed during our stay absolutely ruined it for us. I have tried to give the managers an opportunity to offer compensation but have not heard anything after texting, phoning and emails. If I could post the videos, I would. Banging, drilling, sawing first thing every morning and right through the day.

The apartment was lovely, clean, secure and accessible, with good facilities.

There was nothing to dislike but would suggest a need for a tea towel. Also an extra pillow for added comfort.

Fabulous location 2 min walk from the main square and the heart of Malaga. Beautiful appartment .

Great communication arrived early so phoned and someone came and opened the door we left our cases there and then once the room was ready we recieved a text with door codes to access the property. Really clean and beautifully presented would 100 percent recomend.

Gorgeous, If You Don’t Actually Need to cook There

Convenient location, nice decor, spacious apartment

Host doesn’t speak English as advertised, very poor communication when checking in, no answer and had to wait with luggage 30min outside as no-one answered the phone, we got an apartment on ground floor which we found really inconvenient-we had no view, no privacy-had to have blinds down all the time otherwise everyone could see us, stay away from ground floor apartments. Also we have been to many apartments in Spain but this one had the most basic kitchen amenities, lacking even basic things like seasonings, oil, sugar, coffee etc. this was a big disappointment for us.

Great location and place for the family.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to most places. Great for families.

Check-in could have been easier. We had to send a message letting them know we were there - we could have been stuck outside on the street waiting but we were able to wait inside with another couple. In other places we had stayed similar to here, they sent us the entrance code at check-in time to start the process. Once we figured out we should send them a WhatsApp message it went quick but we should have known in advance if that was what we needed to do.

Clean, cozy, well located apartment. The building serves hotel apartments under same name, it is quiet yet in a good spot of old town in Malaga . We loved the duplex, good space , very well equipped, makes you feel home . Plenty of restaurants, groceries and shops around. 20 min to walk to the beach

Our stay was not pleasant due to the property having power outage.

Our host named Angel was very welcoming. He responded quickly via WhatsApp whenever we have questions.

Power outages occurred during our stay. No AC, no wifi, a broken washing machine, broken light bulbs in the bathroom, and a broken TV.

Super central, very cosy, clean and nice staff.

The property was easy to find and super central. The staff helped us check-in later as we arrived later from Sevilla. They also had 4 lockers to keep our luggage safe while we waited for the return flight.

I think the room could have been a bit cleaner. I would give an 8/10 for cleanliness.

A great place to stay

I really liked the apartment. Appreciated being able to check in earlier on arrival. Great location, as quiet as it gets in Malaga centro at night. I would stay there again!

No real issues. If I'm being nit-picky, it would have been great to have enough shower gel and shampoo for the whole stay, and at least one laundry tablet.

Perfect accommodation.

Everything was wonderful. Great location, very central in old part of the city, but appartment was down a side street and so very quiet. Much bigger place than we expected with a nice terrace and a washing machine as a bonus. Delightful host to meet us and give us local information. Perfect stay. Thank you.

I’ll definitely come back again

Clean and located in the heart of Malaga Centro. Angel the caretaker was an absolute star. There was nothing he could do for you after he translated your message. His English and my Spanish were on par but we could communicate. I’ve stayed in a different property in Malaga with a high 9 rating and Athena Malaga is head and shoulders over it. Don’t hesitate and book this place now. You will not regret it Tom (Ireland)

Good location, in a quiet area. Comfortable bed , with a nice and spacious studio. Smooth check-in and communication.

Find somewhere else to stay. Good location but misleading information and lack of staff flexibility.

Prior to arrival the communication via WhatsApp was great and efficient, and the room was ready upon our arrival 2 hours before check-in time. The decoration and style of the room was okay.

Pictures of the property are somewhat misleading, as most of the rooms seems to have indoor windows that look upon the indoor patios with barely any natural light. We like opening the windows a bit at night to let fresh air in, but being on the ground floor it felt unsafe to do so. Furthermore, the buzz of the front door echoes throughout the indoor patios and easily disturbs your comfort at night. At the moment or check-in the gentleman who welcomed us forgot to ask for our passports and in the evening he sent us a request to send him a picture of them before 8pm, making us rush back to the apartment in the middle of a dinner at a restaurant because otherwise we’d be automatically checked-out making it impossible to get back inside our room. Apparently a European drivers license isn’t valid, and they couldn’t wait until the morning after (even though it was their mistake in the first place). The couch looked like it had been taken from outside, dirty and with signs of having been without any cleaning for a very long time. The pillows and bed linen were fine, but the mattress in our bed was on the hard side considering the softness of the pillows (though this might be a personal preference). We stayed here for 4 nights, during which they only provided us with 1x25cl shampoo and 1x25cl shower gel. When asked for more via WhatsApp they replied that that isn’t part of the service of the apartments but that they could give us some the morning after. The morning after however they didn’t intend to bring it until 12pm and we had already bought our own -which is a waste because we can’t take it with us on the plane.

Amazing location and great apartment

Amazing location, right in the center of Málaga but at the same time super quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was well-furnished.

The only thing we missed was a dryer for dishes/cutlery, the kitchen would've been much easier to use due to the lack of dishwasher.

1 tiny thing that would be so helpful would be to have somewhere in the shower to put shower gel and shampoo, as it's a bit awkward putting it on the floor. It didn't detract from our stay at all! It's just a nice to have 😊

The apartment is superb, very nicely decorated. The kitchen area is separated from the living room, the sofa bed is large and comfortable. Centrally located but in a quiet area. Very kind staff. A big plus for the luggage storage facilities.

Not worth it

Nice decoration and security

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and has a big dip in the middle, the pillows were worn out, the hairdryer was not working and took them 2 days and many chasing messages for them to bring one to use, there is only one tiny bottle of 25 ml shower gel and shampoo for a family of 4, and toilet roll for one day when they said it is included. No welcoming bottle of water for the children that arrived after midnight, the property is far away from the beach about 30 minutes walking or €11 Taxi each way The staff not helpful
