Fabulous stay (prime-stylish)

I have stayed for 10 nights in a Superior Apartment (54 m²) with comfortable bedroom, pleasant living room & fully equipped kitchen. The Apartment is beautifully furnished and roomy, with attention to details. There are 2 traditional Spanish (tall & narrow) balconies in the apartment for ventilation. Washing machine & Dish washer are provided. The kitchenware is top-notch. There are 9 apartments in this Be Mate building. Digital check-in is easily available to save you time upon arrival. Miss Ana and miss Antonella were very prompt in replying to all concerns. . Staff at reception are available from 10 am - 6 pm only. This is general info, as for new comers, You can access inside via a passcode, even if staff are not present. . Miss Jessica Carrasco had done great housekeeping for this apartment. By the way, housekeeping is a weekly chore not daily or upon request. . This place is so elegant & homey. . I will be coming back in the future to my “newly found” home in Malaga.

Really good location! Very clean and modern. Outside noise was not a problem. Beds were comfy and bathroom was really nice.

In order to gain access to the property, we had to complete the self check-in, which is a very long process. But I guess it's needed for them to complete their due diligence. Anyway, I would still recommend the property.

A great stay in a great city.

It was very clean and spacious in the communal areas and the apartment. Also, it was tastefully decorated throughout. The bed was super comfortable.

The Noise! Construction work next door also twice woken around 3am by outside lorry cleaning the roads as we were at the side of the building.

Beautiful old building and foyer. Lift to our apartment on 2nd floor was great. The apartment was so clean, stylish and comfortable. Bed was enormous! And what a view of an old church from the small balcony. Great to have a kitchenette and a washing machine and dish washer!

Excellent penthouse apartment - highly recommended

We stayed in the Penthouse apartment. Really liked it and even better than the pictures. Massive lounge area, huge balcony and both bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for two friends travelling. I was concerned that one of the rooms might be down the stairs that you see on the photo, but that’s just a fire escape - both rooms are off the lounge area. Air conditioning worked very well, and was extremely quiet, unlike other units I’ve experienced. The whole apartment was really really quiet, no noise at all really. Blackout blinds in both bedrooms.

Very nice apartment. We liked it very much. It's modern and well equipped. It was in a quiet location yet close to the centre

The online checkin was a bit too much, expecting us to scan our credit card. After the checkin time on the arrival day they still had not sent the access code, so we had to request it

A really beautiful apartment in a perfect location (walkable to the centre and seafront, but quiet).

Beautiful apartment, spacious, stylish, fantastic facilities, lovely bathroom - couldn’t have asked for more.

We were warned beforehand that the aircon in our room wasn’t working, but they provided us with a fan. Unfortunately there was building work surrounding the apartments which was incredibly noisy, which meant we couldn’t be in there during the day. The staff were very apologetic and we understood it was beyond their control, but it did mean that our last days of our two week trip to Andalusia was slightly tainted.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Be Mate Málaga Centro. The apartment is spacious, elegant, and very clean, with a modern design and tasteful décor accents. It has a bright living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a stylish dining space, and a large bathroom. Perfect for a family trip – everything is designed to make you feel at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent – just a few minutes’ walk to the old town, cafés, restaurants, and the train station. We especially appreciated how convenient everything was with children. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Málaga.

Luxury in the City

We loved everything about this apartment - it was exceptional in every way. The rooms were stunning, luxurious and perfect for a relaxing break in the city. The staff were extremely warm & helpful with their communication throughout - offering advice on places to visit, eating out etc & also dealt with an issue that arose with such professionalism. If we were to return to Málaga in future, we would stay here for sure & highly recommend it to anyone staying in the city.

Top class property. Beautifully decorated. A relaxing haven. Brilliant location in the heartof Malta. We were a couple staying in the penthouse suite. There were 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! More than we could ever need. The balcony was lovely to relax in the evening with a view of the cathedral spire.

Family break in Malaga in May 2025

We stayed in the penthouse apartment. It was both spacious and well furnished, and the roof terrace - onto which the lounge and both bedrooms faced - was perfect for outdoor dining. The flat was very comfortable and included a well-organised kitchen providing all the utensils we needed for preparing our meals. It was a real treat for us to stay here. The location just towards the edge of the Old Town was also very convenient, requiring just a short, but very pleasant walk to reach the busy centre. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone, and would certainly look to stay here again. The extra cost of going for the penthouse apartment was well worth it in our view. Although we did not use additional facilities such as the washing machine and iron, they were there in a side room by the kitchen area. We could easily imagine staying here for longer and believe it would be a very comfortable choice in such a case.

Great apartment in Malaga

This was the nicest apartment I've stayed in. The decor was beautiful, lovely high ceilings and lots of windows and light. The kitchen facilities were exceptional and stocked with everything you could possibly need including various sized saucepans and frying pans, a selection of nice wine glasses, full size fridge and top freezer with ice cube trays, lots of cutlery, plates and bowls a nespresso machine. There was also an individual bag with dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder, washing liquid, coffee pods and little pots of olive oil and vinegar. The bathroom had a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water. Shampoo and shower gel provided and a proper hairdryer with 3 different attachments. We were in an apartment overlooking the street and when the windows were closed it was very quiet. There were stutters on the windows so it was lovely and dark for sleeping. The bed was enormous and had a selection of pillows. I highly recommend this accommodation and the photos don't do it justice. It's much better in person. I would happily return here on any visit to Malaga. It is well situated for the old town and 15 mins walk to the port and a little bit further to the beach. Great location, great apartment.

The aircon was not working which was disappointing when it was 30 degrees during the day and still in 20's at night. We were advised about this in advance and were given the opportunity to cancel free of charge. We decided to go ahead and hope it was repaired. There was a technician there and unfortunately it required parts to be ordered. It was not fixed during our 5 day stay. I understood this was completely out of control of the apartment and staff and there was no other room available. We were given a fan and I am happy with how the situation was handled by Catalina. Every effort was made to compensate us including an offer to change apartment for our final night. It did not spoil our stay and would not deter me from staying again.
