Beautiful house in a perfect location

The area was quiet and plenty of on street parking available. The house was spacious and clean.

The bathroom window wouldn’t open. The smaller room could do with curtains aswell as blinds to keep light out in the summer months. It was very hot upstairs and could do with some fans provided to help.

Communication with the host was great. The complimentary bottle of rose wine was a nice touch. Allowed earlier check-in which was helpful. Location was brilliant, only a short walk to the pier and beach. Garden was good for our dogs. Parking was available right outside the property.

The house needs quite a lot of TLC. The doors and windows need replacing. The back French door was in a terrible state and was difficult to lock, so was the door leading into the extension, and the rubber seal was hanging off underneath. Most of the windows upstairs were difficult to open and close. The boiler pipe work in the kitchen is an eyesore and should be boxed in. The kitchen needs some updating. There was a damp patch on the ceiling in the front double bedroom that needs sorting out. The bathroom is a complete health and safety nightmare. There is a rip in the lino next to the bath that is covering a hole in the floorboard, and it is a trip hazard. The bath is very unstable. It felt like you were going to fall through it whilst having a shower - very scary and dangerous. To be brutally honest, I would like a refund and wouldn't recommend anyone stay here until the issues have been resolved. I certainly would not describe the house as beautiful in its current state.
