It was a quirky quiet village, and after being in Paris and heading to Rouen I wanted somewhere peaceful to enjoy and reground with not much going on. This was a great setting, I loved the huge gardens, their dog, Tom and the fact you could wander around to see the goats, chickens and their huge garden. The room was very spacious. Unfortunately my lack of French made it tricky to communicate in person. I used it as a night to relax.
It was tricky to get to, so I took a taxi there and back which did add costs to the trip. It was also confusing how to access the property - did I wait outside, I kept ringing the bell and no answer, they did respond on message. The room could do with a good dust down.

Room was spacious and host was friendly.
This accomidation was more like a home stay than a hotel. Bathroom was private but was not ensuite.
Few challenges with locks and door handles for the room.
