perfect location in a spacious bungalow with friendly owner and good parking.

Property was spacious, with garden space for the dog, although would have been better if there was a facility to enclose it.

the white goods - kettle, fridge and freezer were poor standard. There were a lot of large spiders in the property! I know there is not much the owner can do about that, but it really spoiled my enjoyment.

Spacious apartment in a calm environment with animals

A great place to stay for a few days if you seek calm and quiet environment and appreciate animals. The hosts were most friendly and showed us around, as well as let us to the animals (hi Kevin). Of course, our young daughter was thrilled. The apartment itself is huge, spotless and comfortable. Equipped with all you might need.

The double bed was a bit narrow for two people and a bit squeaky. Pans are scratched. But nothing at all major and we enjoyed our stay.

The location was ideal for the purpose of our trip. Hosts were lovely and greeted us on arrival. Kitchen size and facilities were good. Loved the dinning table

Sofas far too small, couldn’t relax of an evening. Tv too small. Property looked clean on arrival but once we got settled in it was not as it seemed. Kitchen- kettle needs replacing as it was in poor condition. Also the freezer. We were left with 3 dishwasher tabs for a weeks stay. No salt but plenty of pepper! Cobwebs everywhere, carpet in living room was full of white dog hair. Tried to hoover the room with the properties hoover but it was awful. Attempted with a floor brush to remove some of the hair. The twin bedroom didn’t have any heating. Heating in other bedrooms were poor. The bed in master bedroom was questionable! The main bed frame itself had a piece of ply wood with a divan base placed on top to give height to the bed. Mattress was raised in the middle which meant we’d wake up in the middle of the night with awful back pain. After first night we removed the divan base and placed the mattress on the main bed frame which made it a little comfortable but only passable. Duvet was far too small, the covers need to be updated too. Old bobbly cotton sheets not good for paying guests. We made use of the bath however there seemed to be a drainage odour coming from the crack in the bath panel which got very strong in the evenings. Towels resembled sandpaper, it was painful to dry our 7yearold with them as they were so rough. Hallway needs shoe racks and coat hangers. Dog poo in the garden

Relaxing, peaceful break, fabulous property!

The location of the property was great. Really quiet and peaceful, beautiful countryside. Really spacious property, nice kitchen and big dining table, fully equipped throughout the house with everything you could need. Lovely bedrooms and so so clean throughout ! Loved staying there.

Would be even more lovely in time if they could get some comfy soft sofas to chill out on (current leather ones more for sitting than relaxing so not mega comfy sadly).

Fabulous cottage, fantastic location, perfect for dogs and great local pubs.

The location was great as a base to explore Chetser, Liverpool and the surounding area. The village istelf was very close and had two amazing pubs the food and service was great in both and dogs were also allowed. The cottage was a really good size with plenty of room. The kitchen was very well stocked. We took our dog and it was a great place for her too. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and lovely.

The only thing is the garden wasn't secured so we couldn't let the dog out without going with her/keeping her on a lead.

ideal location and venue for three generation visit. bungalow good access

we really only used as a base but if had been there longer then feel small details such as gate on garden so toddler could play outside safely, towels could do with upgrading.

lovely tranquil location, could see the cattle moving about the yard at times too which was nice. was lovely for my 1 year old to get up near the cows one morning. Nice simple clean house too.

Fantastic base to venture out from & see the wonders of Chester, will definitely be back again, thank you

The property was very clean, comfortable & spacious, my daughter had lots of room to play, there was lots of different utensils to use in the kitchen, when we first arrived they welcomed us in & had given us some milk & coffee/tea & a lovely fruit cake so we could have a lovely cup of tea & slice of cake before we unpacked. The property is next to the owners farm, my daughter loves animals & we were allowed to look at their sheep & cows which she loved
