Too hot and only one fan in the whole apartment!

The bedroom blind/shutter was broken and couldn’t be closed. The bedroom was unbearably hot by 5am. There was no fan provided in the bedroom. There only one fan in the entire apartment and we needed that in the living room where our kids were sleeping. When we arrived ALL the window blinds were up, letting in the heat. The whole apartment was like a furnace. The apartment wasn’t particularly clean in general. The sofa bed mattress was really dirty. We had to hunt to find the linen to make the sofa bed. The windows were so old, they didn’t keep out any noise from outsiders.

Superb

Very interesting achitecture of the building. Close to the lake, restaurants, shops etc.. Spacious enough for family of 4. Big balcony was a game changer :) Easy to find a parking place.

Cleanliness, location not too far from lake (5-10min), big terrasse (though we didn't use it), many towels, big bathroom (small shower though), elevator, VERY comfortable BED and good duvets (Extras in closet if needed).

- for those who are sensitive to sound, it is unfortunately extremely noisy from the street when cars pass (even when windows are closed), so we needed earplugs. - part of the doors (to bedroom and main door to apartment) have a glass piece which means when light is turned on in the hallway outside apartment, the light comes through to bedroom. We used eye mask. - the buzzer to get into the building for this apartment is used by others sometimes, as it opens the door automatically. The problem is that you can hear it in the apartment which can be quite annoying.

Exceptional

Excellent place - on the Lago Maggiore. Spacioul and equiped for family and friends vacation. Has big balcony for warm parties. I was with my family in late November. Apartment has centralized heating, so no problem with night cold.. And by day weather was excellent for walk and trip. Internet was good for me. No problem with parking place (but remember, i wasn't in high season). Lidl is near- 5 min. Malpensa airport in 30minutes. Highly recommend.

I wish that shower cabin would be bit bigger.

Good location. Clean. very good internet connection.

There is no airco in the property. When we arrived at 10pm it was 32 degrees in the appartment and it was not possible to bring it below 30 throughout the night. It is located on a main street, so it is very noisy and the windows are not blocking any noise. The sofa bed in the living room is broken, makes the stay for more than 2 pax very uncomfortable. The shower is mini, very uncomfortable.

A wonderful way to cap off a multi-week trip to Italy.

Blue Wave is a beautiful, clean apartment with plenty of light and space. Flavio is very accommodating and kind, and the apartment is just a little over a five minute walk to the water / bars / restaurants, and just a little longer to the train. Flavio also provided some great local recommendations and was very quick to respond and answer any questions over message. The apartment was very quiet and comfortable, so I had no problem sleeping. I do highly recommend getting up early for the sunrise at least once though (sit on the little stone dock just across from the castle)! I look forward to returning to Blue Wave and Arona. Good value, nice location , super host.

The location was very good and only a short walk from the shops, lake and restaurants. The apartment was well equipt and it was nice to sit ot on the balcony having breakfast or coffee. The host was very helpful with instructions on getting the keys and leaving information leaflets at the apartment. Very clean apartment would recommend.

The lift didn't work one day but that was not a problem but may have been if you struggle with stairs.

Schöne, große Wohnung. Alles vorhanden.

Es ist sehr laut! Alle Fenster gehen auf die Seite der Hauptstraße, die auch nachts recht stark befahren ist. Die Fenster sind sehr schlecht isoliert, daher auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern laut.
