Modern unit with scenic view

I liked the clean, modern design and the great location—waking up to the green Alps with the sound of bells and birds was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the football field, and the indoor parking and charging was super convenient.

The football field (on top of the units) was used by neighbouring toddlers from 7:30 AM, which woke us up. The kitchen lacked a small oven. During self check-in, I was supposed to receive a discount card that never arrived in my inbox. Lastly, we didn’t ask for help, but there should be a better solution for dealing with the flies, like an electric repellent.

A beautiful hideaway at the mountains

We enjoyed the beutiful view on the mountains from the balcony and the distant sound of alpine bells of the cows and the goats moving somewhere along the slopes. Also the apartment was lovely: beatiful, modern and clean! There is also an opportunity to play football, volley ball or table tennis (this both outside and inside the house).

Nothing to dislike! But if you dont't have a car, it might be a little bit complicated to bring all your groceries from the village 2 kilometres up hill...

Excellent stay for large families planning to ski and enjoy the area

The rooms were recently furnished with comfortable beds and enough room for large families with 2 queen size beds and 2 bunk beds. We stayed int he two adjoining rooms. All the amenities were there and the property has underground garages and community/break room that was also provided to us. We could watch TV, or use the large stereo and play table tennis.

The property was cleaned and well maintained. There was high chair for baby. There were dishes for use. There was also a garage for us to park our car. The host was available so I was able to find the property, since he shared his whatsapp location.

The rate did not say explicitly the host only accepts cash. I had to go the bank with the host and take out cash. So I lost 40 mins. There is also an $85 cleaning fee.

Superb

What a wonderful location!! The Alpen-Nest is just as its sounds. Warm, cosy, spacious, beautifully decorated and with all what is needed within the apartment to make sure you feel at home. The hosts are very friendly and facilities are there for young (table tennis, large playfield for soccer and volleyball) and old (self serving cold and warm drinks). Breakfast is possible and good (with a warm breakfast on request). The location is almost surreal. Looking out from your balcony your view is set upon a beautiful and massive set of mountains. You can hear the cow or goatbells ring and see how the animals graze over de mountains. The apartment is located in a very quiet area just outside the city centre of Grossarl. We would love to return here.
