Lovely, but with challenges.

The house is just as advertised - adorable and in a gorgeous setting. Unlike other reviews there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. Really, everything you could need was there. It's a lovely house.

We received zero instructions about how to access the property. I assumed because I hadn't received any that the host would greet us, but no - we were just lucky our daughter found spare keys hidden in a potted plant. Also, our beds were not completely made - we found the keys to the linen cabinet and put pillowcases on ourselves. I suspect the cleaning person maybe didn't finish what they were instructed to do and the host/owner was out of town. Because we had unrelated travel issues (we missed our train and rental cars were overbooked and so we never got one (which made staying at the chalet a challenge) we were especially stressed. I'm glad we found the keys as we had taken an expensive taxi and I'm not sure what we would have done otherwise. We had messaged the host about all of these challenges in advance of arriving and we didn't receive a response until the next day. It was one of those times when probably a hotel with staff would have been better under the circumstances.

Very nice and clean place on the mountains with a stunning view, good for families

The house was super hot although the weather was nice but we were unable to open the windows for air because of all the types of weird creatures that will come inside the moment you open the window, we understand that there is no AC but one fan for 3 rooms is unfair! She could provide more fans at-least one for each room.

Gorgeous house, quiet and peaceful. Very confi wintergarden. The neighbor's dog was really cute and friendly to our dog. We can highly recommend to spend some days in this getaway.

Superb

Loved everything about this place. Location, parking, the Chalet is so quaint and cozy. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There was wood ready for the fireplace and coffee beans ready to go in the coffee maker. Very clean, comfortable beds, highly recommend.

Maybe provide a few extra rolls of toilet paper and an extra set of sheets/blanket/pillow for the sleeper sofa in the living room. A better system for separating the trash/recycle/paper would have been helpful too.

Everything was wonderful, Madeleine was so helpful and cooperative and she kept asking whether we need anything. Beautiful house with a wonderful terrace overlooking a lovely garden.

Theere was no cellphone coverage but we used the house WiFi to keep in touch with the world while we were staying home.

The house and garden are simply beautiful - the house is decorated with a stylish, luxurious feel which is also comfortable and practical. The huge garden is heavenly. The house is near the Panoramaweg hike so perfect for walkers and dog owners.

The house is so comfortable and in such a quiet, calm area, it is a completely stress free holiday. The dog next door was a great friend to our dog.

Lovely stay in a house in the midst of Black Forest

The location was good, near to hiking trails. The house was spacious and clean! We had loads of fun with the neighbour's dog! Too too cute!

The host had to come and replenish the toilet rolls and also to clean up the coffee machine which was quite dirty and clogged. But all was good once these were done. Thank you!

The chalet is just wonderful - the ideal place to spend relaxing time with a lovely big garden and a winter garden for when it rains. The location is great for hiking and visiting the area.

Incluso mejor de lo esperado. Alojamiento extraordinario, junto a caminos para pasear, con jardín privado, mucha intimidad y paz. Casa de excelente calidad. La casa es amplia para una familia, quizás tiene poca intemidad si mezclas dos familias (las habitaciones están comunicadas). Muy cómoda para niños que ya sepan usar la escalera

Zeer aangenaam verblijf

Ruim huisje met heerlijke royale serre/wintertuin, zeer volledig ingerichte keuken, goede zithoek, fijne bedden en een mooie ruime en rustig gelegen tuin.

Het ligt ongeveer 12 minuten rijden van het centrum van Baden-Baden, maar dat was voor ons geen enkel probleem eigenlijk.

Bellissima

La casa è bellissima e molto grande (noi eravamo solo in 2 con 1 cane, ma ci saremmo stati bene anche in 6-7). È dotata di tutto: lavastoviglie, forno, macchina da caffè professionale ecc. Perfetta e curata nei minimi particolari e con un giardino eccezionale: Romeo è stato felicissimo! In campagna, ma vicino alla cittadina di Baden-Baden.

Ich habe diese Unterkunft mittlerweile schon an jeden weiterempfohlen! Es ist wirklich einen besuch wert

Mir fehlen bei dieser Unterkunft wirklich die Worte! Es ist so wunderschön und idyllisch dort. Alleine schon von der Ausstattung! Eine wunderschöne Küche mit allem was man braucht, eine sehr bequeme Couch und die Betten erst! Alles super, alles sauber, alles ordentlich. Wenn man morgens auf der kleinen Terrasse Sitz und die Sonne einen anstrahlt dann ist man wirklich im Paradies.
