There could have been a light in the staircase from ground floor. The bed and the mattress were somewhat uncomfortable due to the floor inclination.

Beautiful and central

The apartment was spacious and beautiful with a big bed. Excellent location!

The apartment was a little cold in October. Also the layout was a bit impractical, since you had to pass through the toilet to get to the bedroom. Also the faucets were a bit tricky to use. Even with these little flaws we had a nice stay!

Modern & perfect location for exploring Baden Baden

Modern, clean , perfect location, had a bath & shower! Great communication from host & guest app with really useful information & recommendations - included guest pass for discounts in Baden Baden. Literally in the centre & 10 min walk from the thermal spas. Easy self check in.

No parking - but really helpful advice from host with options where to park nearby that included free parking.

Love the style, cleanliness and light-filled lounge. Loved the proximity to everything. Comfy bed. Nice toiletries.

Not much cutlery though just enough. And such small tea/coffee mugs, no handles, which look cool but not really useful for us.

We stayed in the Maxim apartment. Amazing apartment with modern decor and facilities. Incredibly comfortable bed. Great location in the middle of the city, a short walk from all the major sights.

The only thing is that we misunderstood the extent to which there was a housekeeping service. While not a problem, we would advise travellers staying a lot longer than us to maybe bring their own towels (but this is a very very minor gripe based on our misunderstanding).

Only tiny tiny picky things - It was hot weather and difficult to keep apartment cool. Host provided a fan but still hot due to heatwave Every morning 2 ladies (we think staff) chatted very loudly and smoked in the courtyard outside Noise transfers from other floors- loud footsteps above Ticking clock on thermostat No covering on small window in bedroom

Great stay

Central location in the middle of old town. The apartment is spacious, big bathroom and toilet.

It's not about the apartment but just to share our experience. We arrived with car after dark and parked at the suggested parking gagarge close to the casino. Somehow, google maps didn't show us the straightforward walking route to the apartment but a long walk 20min up to the hill and then down to Trinkhalle... Also we mistook the entrance door of the apartment, especially as it was already dark. The instructions were detailed but perhaps some more pictures of the entrance door and walking route map to the apartment could be helpful.

The host was very responsive and friendly. Location of the apartment is ideal for exploring the town on foot. Apartment was very clean, just as advertised.

Modern, elegant & great value for the price.

Property's perfect for two people (we stayed in the flat 'Julie'). Kitchen is great, bed is comfortable, bathroom is elegant. They have a coffee machine with capsules & a smart TV. It's in the center, very close to all highlights of Baden-Baden: casino, thermal baths, restaurants, museums, etc.

They don't tell you before hand but you have to a pay a Kurtaxe (local tax - 3,80€ per person per night). It's not a terrible thing, but it's something that I'd like to know in advance. However, I would recommend this place 100%!

Quality apartment in a central and convenient location!

Everything screams quality. - Very very clean, spacious and comfortable - Quality furnishing, toiletries and tastefully decorated - Host is responsive, helpful, the guide provided has some good tips and food recommendations - Sustainable lifestyle - wood compostable capsule coffee, low surfactant toiletries - Local touches - pen, umbrella and toiletries of high quality and supporting local vendor businesses - Host provided water upon arrival (very helpful as we landed very very late and buying things was not really possible) - Quiet neighbourhood - Excellent utilities and home is warm (but not Hot) - Central location - There are clear notes helping guests navigate everything - WiFi password, local spa taxes, attractions for consideration etc. - Two single blankets - helpful for travellers who may wish to have their own blanket

Nothing really that I would say is bad. For areas of improvement/consideration: - WiFi has been intermittent in the evening (maybe because more people are using it). close to midnight or so, the connectivity can be poor. - Would be nice to have a wooden spoon as part of kitchen utensils (but overall very well equipped!) - Pillows were too soft/low for my liking. extra pillow or a firmer pillow would be nice - Bathroom (Apartment Maxim): in the bathtub, the heights can be limited. I am 5’7 and that’s fine. My partner is 6’4 and showering is no problem, it just means the tall person cannot really use the shower head rail? ie you need to hold the shower head by hand.

Poor value for money - many things don't work!

We spent 4 nights in the Ella apartment. The location is very central and picturesque. The apartment is split across 5 rooms with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, which is convenient for families. In the kitchen, there were a few extra items provided which make life easier, like salt and pepper, soap, oil, etc

Unfortunately there were many things to not like! We asked twice before arriving for an extra child's bed, but when we arrived it wasn't there. It turns out they had put it into a different apartment, so it was at least quickly fixed. However, the apartment is generally older and a bit run down. The worst part is that the heating wasn't working right, and we ended up having to arrange twice with a plumber to come to the apartment to try to fix it. When we left, it still wasn't working right. Several other things didn't work well. The kitchen tap always dripped (and was an old non mixing tap), the fridge froze our food (even at the lowest setting), and a window wouldn't close properly. The beds weren't very comfortable and quite small. We had family staying in another Boutique Charme apartment, which was much more modern and seemed better. Avoid apartment Ella if you can! For the price we paid, it was very poor value for money.
