Location and facilities

Unfortunately the dishwasher didn't work during our stay.

The 11A apartment was one of the largest European places we have ever stayed. It was well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom! The bathroom was enormous, beautifully tiled and had double sinks! In addition, there was a guest toilet. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It also had a large balcony overlooking the lower part of Baden-Baden. It was so very serene and peaceful in this quiet area of town. My special thanks to Miriam who assisted us in getting a taxi confirmed for an early morning departure. She was most helpful and accommodating!

The property is on a hill and would be ideal for someone with a car as there is parking available. I mistakenly thought that we could use the bus route shown on the map. Upon arrival we found the bus only went by four times a day, so it was a bit of a walk up and down the hill to the town. It is walkable. You can get to most parts of the city center and the spas in less than 20 minutes…be prepared to walk. To get to the 11A apartment you need to go down several stairs and then up several more to get to the apartment. People with mobility issues may want to consider this.
