Host & Stay - No 3 Sandside

Location was excellent, great views and easy to get round whitby. Comfy beds too would happily stay for a couple of days or a week or more.

We stayed at the property for only two days so the propertie’s arrival and departure times impacted our enjoyment . Therefore, if I were able to change something, then I would recommend the owners tighten up on their changeover/cleaning period. We could not see any reason why it should take six hours to complete this task. If better scheduling of the cleaning was put in place, then access to the property could happen earlier, for example, from 2pm (instead of 4pm) and secondary in importance would be to have the leaving time at 11am (instead of 10am). So our recommendation would be to have a three hour changeover/cleaning period to clean the property (instead of the current six hours).

Loved the view. It was immense and so close and handy to walk into Whitby. Lovely decor inside. Bifold window is a bonus

The bed upstairs is ridiculously uncomfortable. Its small and we both had bad backs. They need to invest in a better mattress. And quality pillows. Considering what we paid. There is no door leading to other couples bedroom so that made them uncomfortable. As they were woken with us using the toilet. There's also a mirror facing bed so you can see them sleep. Also we could not use livingroom when they went to bed. Once again due to lack off a door for privacy and noise Also very bright downstairs due to window on door. Slight damp smell downstairs. Towels need to be improved as they were discoloured

difficult to get to with lots of bags and things for a baby. not generally ideal for children as on three levels and tight stairs. kitchen was tiny. be aware there may not be more than one toilet roll and no welcome pack with things in. we didn’t even have any washing up liquid. only one t- cloth for drying pots. no milk for tea on arrival.
