Whitby Beachfront Cottage

The location could not be better, you feel like you are on the beach. The view from every window is perfect. This is our second stay here with family and our grandchildren could not be happier to visit again and again. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Whilst it could do with a little refresh the value is very good in comparison to others.

The tv struggles for signal but the view is compensation enough. Whilst it was clean it would benefit from a touch up on paintwork etc to make it feel as special as this little gem is.

Fantastic location and views.

Not particularly clean. The Wi-fi was illusive. Balcony security not great for little ones (spindle gaps wider than should be). Could really do with a decorate.

Location great

Wasn’t very clean Such as the windows and room floor. The view from the room was lovey however the windows were filthy. Couldn’t use the TV the programmes would not load. The fire didn’t work even the light for ambiance. The blinds in downstairs bedroom were broken.

Location was superb; as were the views if they hadn't been spoilt by filthy windows.

Hasn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Dirt and rubbish in lots of places including dirty kitchen cupboards and bird poo on bedroom blind. Rubbish under beds and in corner of room. Not enough kitchen equipment for 6 people so we had to buy a new pan. TVs didn't work. Host didn't reply to my booking.com messages before we went (to confirm no oven) and didn't reply to my text message whilst we were staying.
