The house was exceptional, immaculate & comfortable. I actually cannot fault a thing, the location is perfect with beautiful views. Wish we had booked to stay for longer.

Can't fault a thing. Perfect location, stunning house, wonderful welcome pack full of helpful information and places to visit, made our holiday having such a beautiful house for the week. Being able to see the Abbey from the top floor was just wonderful. The owners were so friendly and kind. Sad to leave whitby.

Excellent stay, we can't wait to return

Our stay at Trillo House was very comfortable, the location was very good, very near to Whitby centre but far enough away not to get too much noise at night. The owner met us to hand over keys and answer any queries, he explained how the hot tub worked etc. We had two cars and were given enough permits to park for the week and were lucky enough to get a spot near the property. The house was immaculate and we were given a lovely welcome pack with a mix of cereals & sauces etc. Also a bottle of prosecco, bread, milk, eggs and fresh flowers were a great start to our holiday. The house was beautiful & comfortable with modern & traditional feel but not precious which made it easy to relax. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and the kitchen table was used constantly. Alexa in the kitchen was used to play tunes all week & Netflix was great , we watched a movie with the kids every night. Overall we had a great family holiday and would definitely recommend staying at Trillo House, we can't wait to go back.

The temperature of the hot tub was a little too hot to enjoy as set to 40c & we couldn't work out how to turn it down.

Family break

Wonderful location and plenty of room for our family of 5. Didnt need the car all week. The welcoming touches of fresh flowers and welcome hamper were a lovely touch and the Christmas decorations were an added bonus for a December holiday. Felt at home as soon as we walked in.

Although dog friendly the kitchen leads onto the living room so recommend blankets or a baby gate as they will have free access to soft furnishings.

Fantastic location, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Contacted by the host prior to arrival and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Greeted by the host’s mum who kindly helped me to unpack the car!!! Nice touches, welcome pack, robes for the hot tub, and personalised info pack.

No parking at the property although I was well aware of this and booked in the knowledge of the same. I found it rather stressful to unpack two cars very quickly and re-locate the cars on adjacent streets. Received parking tickets on both cars (which we will appeal) despite displaying the provided permits/ scratch cards. The check in time of 4pm is a little late in my view (although traffic issues didn’t see us arrive until 5.30pm, and a check out of 10 am too early). I do appreciate that it is a large house to clean in this short window to a good standard in COVID times.

Beautiful house in Whitby

Such a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Whitby. The house was absolutely stunning and exceeded my expectations. The house was spotless and and very welcoming on arrival. Wonderful welcome gifts too...so much thought and care has clearly gone in to this and it's the best I have ever experienced. Absolutely nothing I didn't like about the house and beds super comfy. We didn't want to leave! Hot tub a bonus too and it was used often. Owners Izzy and Edwin couldn't have been more helpful and super friendly. Parking can be an issue but easy to find spaces once you know where you can/can't park. We had 3 cars and didn't have any issues with parking at all. Parking cards are provided on arrival and also a welcome pack/guide with lots of useful information about Whitby and other places of interest. Loved everything about this house and Whitby...we will definitely be back!

Fantastic girlie week . Who needs to get on a plane when we have such amazing places in this country

Beautifully decorated house and very well equipped. The welcome pack was much appreciated. We had fab weather all week and were able to make the most of eating outside on the terrace. A few twinkly lights would have been the icing on the cake!!

We were a little confused by the parking arrangements in Whitby but the host was very amenable .
