Dune Cottage

Right in the centre of everything which was good.

I was under the impression that the fire was real which was one of the reasons I booked it, now realise why there wasn’t a photo of the fire, an electric fireplace is not a feature of the house as it was described .

The cottage is in a perfect location, The bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom was nice and clean too, Although there isn’t any parking at the property it was only a 10 minute walk to find plenty of spaces.

On the outside of the cottage the bins were open and overflowing with rubbish and it was all over the floor, The garden furniture was covered with bird droppings and it can’t have been cleaned in months. None of the outside area was maintained. inside the cottage downstairs hadn’t been cleaned and both sofa’s were covered in stains and also one of the bath towels covered in makeup. It’s a shame because with an hour spent cleaning the outside up a bit and providing a wheelie bin and wiping the furniture down it would be a stunning little place.

Really close to the centre, easy check in, lots of cutlery and pots, peaceful, quirky and very vintage!

Some little cosy touches could be added, maybe a blanket or two. Instructions could do with updating re: heating etc and the addition of WiFi would be a bonus. The blind in the guest room could do with being replaced as it won’t open, but otherwise it was clean, comfy and very good value for money.

Small but cozy

Staircase, nightmare, wife badly sprained her foot and has had hospital treatment, still not good
