19 High Petergate - Next to York Minster

The location of this flat is absolutely fantastic! The ability to walk to everything is magic!! We were able to go out most mornings with a cup of tea and sit on the benches opposite York Minster and enjoy the cool breeze and the sights & sounds of the city coming to life. Just wonderful! Bennett's Cafe is literally right diagonal from the flat!

It was rather hot and stuffy in the unit. There is only heating. Naturally I don't imagine this is any issue during the colder months... but it was rather unpleasant during the summer. There were 2 fans that certainly helped. But none of the upper floor windows open to allow for airflow... that made it rather uncomfortable... also, with he sleeping area on the loft above, the warm air from the showers and kitchen below collects upstairs. This could be remedied with a couple freestanding AC units perhaps? That's really the only issue. We would certainly still recommend AND stay again! (^_^)

The location is fab altho no parking had to use a local carpark that was an extra £64.24 from 19.00on the Friday till 11:00 on the Sunday all adds onto the price had good facilities was clean and well looked after stunning view of the minster

The property was brill only complaint we couldn’t open any windows and it was a very hot wkend just wanted some fresh air or even to sit looking outta the window watching the world go by with a drink in hand they did supply a fan but not the same as fresh air !

Location good Bed good size

Didn’t like that bathroom downstairs as in 70s. Tv in bedroom so again up and down stairs to make brew , even though we had fans the room was hot all windows are locked plus plastic perplex over window so if fire at bottom stairs no means of escape

Living room/kitchen over furnished. No tv in Living room only tv in bedroom Toilet seat discoloured, had to be replaced Cold in flat but it was a cold really wet day.
