Casa Venier is excellently located, just a 5 minute walk from Piazza San Marco and the Grand Canal. The room was compact but had everything we needed including much appreciated air conditioning and a fridge. It was clean, comfortable and modern.
We had no complaints about this room.

The staff were very attentive to my questions before our arrival. The size of our rooms were much larger than we expected. The location is very close to St. Mark's Square.
This is not a complaint... The common areas had an espresso machine. I wish there were instructions on how to use it. We only learned how to use it when the staff were onsite on our second day.

Central location, easy to get to. Good communications with the staff.
The aircon wasn't sufficient for the heatwave; after running it overnight the room only cooled down around 5 am then got warm the next hour. Also a mosquito net on the windows will be very useful, mosquito repellent wasn't efficient enough.
