de Haan is lovely. Beautiful beaches, promenade, shops and restaurants. We had a delightful time.

This is a family owned hotel and is like a large old house. It is full of antique furniture and has an old-fashioned theme running through it. Our room was delightful with the added bonus of a lounge area and a large terrace. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was good.

This is the only hotel on our trip that didn't have aircon and the weather was extremely hot. The owner kindly lent us a fan, but as we had got used to aircon, our stay would have definitely have benefitted from this.

An historic building in a good location but rather tired.

Location in the middle of De Haan was very good. The hotel is quirky with old world charm. The history of the hotel is very interesting and the staff are friendly.

The Deluxe room was very small with a tiny bathroom behind a plastic sliding door. Had to ask for tea/ coffee making which had been specified and the only place for it was on the floor. The waste pipe from the room above ran noisily through the bedroom. Wi-Fi intermittent.

An amazing building both externally than internally, a really fascinating architecture both outside and inside, in a very quiet place 2 minutes walk fro the beach

room too small and I would have prefer a set of sheets for the bed instead of only a cover of the mattress, it felt unclean even not at all, but the feeling was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast is excellent. We love the fact that you are served eggs made to your liking with optional side of bacon. The hosts are very nice and helpful.

The bathroom design is poor. Toilet is so close to the sink that you don't fit properly. The door is not adjusted properly. Once you need to close it you can hurt your fingers, because the handle is too close to the doorway. Or in the other bathroom there was no proper door. We have enjoyed our holiday. The staff was excellent. The above is just a design question for such a lovely, storytelling building.

As it was explained to us, the property was purchased recently and still a work in progress. However, a fantastic old place full of interesting objects. Staff were wonderful and incredibly helpful. Nice location, set away from the beach in a quiet road.

Perfectly comfortable, but the toilet/bathroom still had the old frosted glass door and didn't shut properly, But all waiting to be changed as it was explained to us.

Very beautiful and nice people

The property itself was very beautiful! very fancy and stylized. the staff are super friendly and they even allowed us to do a mini photoshoot in the premises. the hotel is also dog friendly! They even let us pet their dog Elvis!! We would for sure stay here again in the future!

Lovely hotel with amazing staff! Very friandly amd accomodating, great location. The room was on the smaller side with the typical noises from an older house with little quirks. Great selection for breakfast, with good cheeses. We’d definitely come back.

if you love personal care and charming rooms than this is the perfect place for you we absolutely loved our stay and the chats with the owners and all the good tips for exploring the area the breakfast was individualized and was a delicious selection we will definitely come back to this charming hotel

Location excellent! Easy to reach both the beach and the little train station. Breakfast was good. Reception exceptionally friendly. Felt at home immediately. The building is beautiful: a stately "old lady" with history all around.

Jolie Bois is a warm, welcoming and relaxed hotel which made our visit to De Haan special.

The owners of the hotel were extremely nice and accommodating. The hotel is decorated with interesting antiques and felt charming. The location is perfect - center of town but off the main street. Beach was a very short walk of a few blocks. I will be going back to Joli Bois.
