Well worth a visit

Beautifully presented B&B which felt warm and welcoming set on a quiet street just 5 mins from the seafront. Comfy beds lovely bathroom and excellent breakfast.

Not a criticism but would have liked a kettle and cups in the bedroom.

We go to Maison Rabelais every two years. Thanks to the host Sabine, it is a charming and wonderful place. The decor is beautiful and atmospheric, the cleanliness is high, the location is great and the breakfasts are royal. Of course, Sabine, see you in two years😘

Step back in time to the Age of Beauty….

Amazing Belle Èpoque mansion in a conservation area that is evocative of better times. De Haan must surely be one of the best preserved Golden Age seaside towns in the world, you feel as if you have walked into a French Impressionist painting, such a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the Belgium coast. Steps away from the action, and on the way to the beach these are whole streets lined with amazing grand mansions. At Masion Rebelais you are greeted with an invitation to sit to enjoy a tea/coffee and homemade cake in the lounge or terrace. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional, service is attentive & nothing is overlooked, you are even invited to return for afternoon tea if you’re still in the area. A stop on the coast not to be missed.

Just everything was perfect. This B&B is a dream ❤️. Royal breakfast, the best location, beautiful and sweet rooms, very clean and the best service in the world. I will definitely be back next year or maybe sooner 😘

Great and personalized stay close to the beach in De Haan.

We loved the extra attentions and goodies. Very “bed and breakfast” style. Home made appple cake, macaroons, tea coffee; all free of charge and available all day. The breakfast was fantastic! We were able to use the facilities after our check out and hand out st the property. Check in time at noon is really nice too. The owner (Sabine) gave us excellent recommendations for dinner! The beach is also very close so great location!

They could have more power outlets in the room. There is no A/C in the room so it can be warm on hot days, but we knew about it and there was a good fan.

Perfekt und wärmstes zu empfehlen

Alles! Lage, Komfort, Frühstück; alles bestens. Wir hatten eine Suite ( Nr. 1) in der sehr schönen Villa. Sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll und wertig ausgestattet, sehr bequemes Bett , schönes Bad mit hochwertigen Pflegeprodukten. Auch der Rest des Hauses war sehr schön; komfortabel und sehr warm und einladend gestaltet. Im Salon konnte man sich bei Bedarf jederzeit aufhalten ( auch noch am Abreisetag!!!) und wurde kostenlos mit köstlichem selbstgebackenem Kuchen, Kaffee, Tee, Kakao verwöhnt. Die Gäste hatten das Haus tagsüber für sich allein, aber stets war für alles gesorgt. Die Gastgeberin Sabine war phantastisch und vermittelte - ruhig, freundlich und unaufdringlich stets das Gefühl, ehrlich um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt zu sein. Wir reisen viel und haben uns selten so rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt wie hier.

Nichts! Nur als Anmerkung am Rand: Wie alle alten Häuser ein wenig hellhörig; war aber bei den angenehmen und ruhigen Gästen überhaupt kein Problem.

Heerlijk verblijf in een prachtige accomodatie

Goede contacten vooraf met duidelijke informatie. Hartelijke ontvangst met de ganse dag door koffie/thee/versnaperingen (heerlijke huisgemaakte cake!). Ook de hond wordt niet vergeten : drinkbakje en matje op de kamer. Heerlijk ontbijt met zelfgemaakte ingrediënten. Je blijft ook op de dag van vertrek welkom om even te verpozen of gebruik te maken van het sanitair.

Schöne ruhige Lage, aber fußläufig zum Strand oder zum Bahnhof. Tolles Frühstück und ein sehr schönes Wohnzimmer (für alle Gäste), nachmittags gibt es kostenlosen Kuchen, sehr nette Gastgeberin

Die Zimmer sind relativ hellhörig und einige Türen und Dielen quietschen, irgendwie gehört das aber auch zum Charme des Hauses

Tolle Unterkunft für kurzen Zwischenstopp

Sehr liebevoll und authentisch eingerichtete Zimmer. Leider kamen wir erst sehr spät an und konnten die anderen Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses nicht nutzen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch und die Betreuung äußerst freundlich und sympathisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bleiben länger.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder...

Sehr originelle Zimmer, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Da Frühstück ist absolut klasse und wunderbar angerichtet. Der selbstgebackene Kuchen zum Empfang war eine gelungene Überraschung. Parken auf dem Grundstück oder an der Straße ist kein Problem. Sabine ist supernett und sehr zugewandt.

Eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft in zentraler Lage. Sabine hat uns hervorragend bewirtet. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich und sogar für mich als Gast mit Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten hat sie sehr viel Auswahl gehabt. Gerne wieder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Alles was TOP. Fraai pand. Prima locatie dicht bij strand en duinen. Rustige straat. Meer dan uitstekend ontbijt. Zeer attente en aardige gastvrouw.

Niets viel tegen. Misschien dat een airco op warme dagen een goede toevoeging voor de kamers zou zijn. Er stond wel een ventilator. De nachten waren bij ons niet zo warm. Dus voor ons was het goed zo.
