Rooms are very small , the advertised pictures are not in line in terms of room space, on the pictures rooms seem larger. In the room the smoke detector was placed right above the bed with a very flashy led light blinking all night every 30 seconds,which woke us up. Light switches were placed very awkward at the bed end, the pillow easily touches the light switch turning on the lights unexpectedly. For breakfast we missed a good espresso or cappuccino , the coffee was served in coffee cans (americano).

What a lovely hotel - so clean and airy with a fantastic view out across the sea. The staff could not have been nicer and looked after us and our bikes perfectly. Breakfast had a really broad range of options for a relatively smaller hotel - would easily recommend.

Strand Hotel De Haan

The location of the hotel being right on the promenade, the very friendly & helpful staff and although not a five star hotel, the facilities were perfectly acceptable. The room allocated also had a bonus with effectively two separate bedrooms. The hotel building has a lot of character. Parking nearby is free.

Not much really, perhaps no tea coffee facilities in the room and the older style room door key entry system. The restaurant could have more options for an evening meal, like straight forward burgers and pizzas etc...but the breakfast was good.

Great location on the sea front at De Haan.

Great location, our rooms looked onto the beach. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and with a good offering. We arrived before the check in time but our rooms were ready so we got access straight away.

Windows are single glazed, and (in winter) therefore quite a lot of condensation on the inside. Would have been nice to have coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

i liked the fact we were given ground floor seeing that we had a dog with us. It was a spacious room.

it wasn’t very clean. The bar area was really dirty and the room wasn’t that clean either. There were stains on the carpet and sofa.

Small hotel/restaurant at the beach. We had the luck that our room had sea-view, Excellent location, excellent value for money! Older hotel, facilities were average. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast buffet.

Difficult to find the hotel as it cannot be reached by car. Park your car on the big parking lot for free, and walk to the hotel. No reception, receive your room key at the bar. Room could be cleaner We tried the restaurant but we were not impressed.

locatie: uitzicht tijdens ontbijt was goed.

De grootte van het bad. Het "boeket" aan tafel was een stuk afgesneden onkruid. Maar vooral het gemis van een waterkoker en wat oploskoffie of thee in de kamer.
