Pleasent stay in Desenzano

Very well equipped and new, quite close to the center, some 15 minutes on foot. On the top floor with acces to the roof terrace. The host Paola extremely helpful and nice. Lots of free parking space in front of the building.

Glorious apartment for Desenano trip

Paola and Paulo were the most amazing hosts - they were easy to contact and were so very kind to us. The apartment is top floor with access to private terrace with sofa, table and deck chairs. The building is set back from the main road with bedrooms at the back so very quiet. Check in was so easy and we immediately felt a home. The facilities were excellent - full kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, and a second bedroom for those snorers! Clean, tidy, with supermarkets very close by - nothing was too much for the hosts. Thank you for such a warm welcome and a lovely stay - good luck with all your plans...they sound really exciting! Would love to visit again some time 🤩

Complete apartment but not fully functional

Paola was very kind to arrange for Valentina to wait for us to check in as we arrived late from our previous destination. She was available for questions by whatsapp. We had problem with most of the radiators staying on in summer when we arrived and she arranged for a technician to fix this the next day. The house is spacious and comfortable with good appliances - there is a washer dryer, fridge, oven and dishwasher. I think there is a coffee maker as well (not fully sure as don’t drink coffee). Kitchen utensils are good in general but the pots handles were flimsy. Plenty of wardrobe space in the main bedroom. There are air conditioners in every room as well so we slept comfortably. There are many fresh towels. Body/hair shampoo were in little plastic sachets and few of them so not suitable for family use. Shower is fair. No hand shower head. There is a private terrace available for lunch/dinner outside (view isn’t particularly attractive but allows private time outside). The house is on 4th floor in a block of apartments (stairs access, no lift), has plenty of parking and easy access from the main motorway between Milan-Venice. It is also within 10 minutes to Desenzano town centre - there are many shops nearby. Tourist fee payable on arrival by cash.

Despite many appliances available there were no laundry liquid or dishwasher tablet (we had to source these ourselves and had to leave them behind). Sponges and wipes left in the kitchen were used and worn out. No sugar, salt or oil so very healthy diet for a few days. There is no microwave. TV not functional at all during our stay. Paola brought a Chrome Cast stick the next day but there was no charger with it so we couldn’t use it anyway for the whole of our 3 nights stay. I have hand arthritis and found it very challenging to open the fridge door (the thin metal grab was at the top of the fridge door). There’s definitely a room for improvement overall. Otherwise Paola and Valentina have been helpful.

Perfect apartment

Everything was perfect. Paolo is a great host and the apartment is just awesome. We had everything we needed. The apartment is just few minutes away from the city center, several supermarkets near by, and the parking is free. We really can’t find a better location than Paolo’s apartment.

When we were in Desenzano, the weather was really hot, and it’s quite rare for this region according to Paolo. Fortunately Paolo’s apartment is equipped with AC and it really helped. I did wish the AC could be more effective, but I think we were lucky enough to be in an apartment with AC when there’s a heat wave. Anyway, our experience is perfect I really have nothing to complain about !

Krásné místo, doporučujeme

Výborná komunikace s hostiteli, dokonce nám nabídli, že nás vyzvednou na vlakovém nádraží (což jsme ale nepotřebovali). Apartmán má vše, co je potřeba. V blízkosti je zastávka bus MHD a také obchod. K jezeru/trajektu pěšky přibližně 15 min, takže ideální. Střešní terasa je nádherná. Děkujeme za krásný pobyt!

Byly zde tisíce komárů, takže velmi chyběly síta do oken. Stačilo okno otevřít na chvíli a komáři byli uvnitř. Pak už jsme využívali klimatizaci.

Appartement très bien situé et très bien équipé. L’accueil était chaleureux avec une délicate attention de notre hôtel(vin de sa production). La documentation et les consignes utiles et plusieurs langues.

Un pommeau de douche dans la cabine serait pratique.

Appartamento arredato bene e spazioso, presente di tutto il necessario, pulito, con molte accortezze da parte dell’host(tipo caffè, bottiglia di acqua in frigo, detersivo piatti e lavatrice ecc ) La terrazza sopra è davvero una chicca da godere in estate La signora molto disponibile e gentile

Super freundliche und persönliche Betreuung durch den Eigentümer bereits vorab mit allen notwendigen Informationen zur Anreise. Zum Apartment Rose gehört die wunderschöne Dachterrasse zur alleinigen Nutzung- das haben wir bei den warmen Temperaturen sehr genossen.

Ospitalità e buon vino

Indubbiamente abbiamo apprezzato l’ospitalità dei proprietari che si sono rilevati da subito disponibili ed accoglienti. L’appartamento è pulito e ben organizzato. L’arredamento è moderno. Il terrazzo sovrastante l’appartamento è molto spazioso e nelle belle giornate è un piacevole spazio all’aperto per stare in compagnia.

L’unica pecca è la mancanza di un ascensore, essendo l’appartamento al secondo piano.
