Apartment Old Garden Dubrovnik

Large apartment, excellent aircon, comfortable bed, good kitchen - stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and dining table. The TV has some English channels and is in kitchen/dining area not in the bedroom. Good shower pressure. There is a private patio area and grass area with a clothes drying rack. I messaged the host 20min before my arrival and he met me to give me the key and show me round. Location: It is outside the old town and is very quiet and private. 15 mins walk to the Pile gate entrance of the old town. Note this involves walking along a road then going down 204 steps to get to the entrance. Instead of the steps, you can continue down the road which loops round, but this takes longer. Obviously returning to the apartment means walking back up which is hard work in the summer months as there is little shade. 30min walk from Gruz port (for ferries to and from Split and Kotor). I think the nearest bus stop to the aparment is outside the Pile gate. Buses 1,3,8 go to Gruz port and take 10 mins. (Oddly bus routes and times didn't work on Google maps) Konzum maxi supermarket 10min walk, smaller studenac convenience stores closer. Other tip: The 24hr Dubrovnik pass costs €40 which includes unlimited bus travel for 24hrs.

Minor point which probably won't bother most people- kitchen pans are a bit worn and the non stick coatings have some scratches.

It was lovely & comfortable and it had all we need. The AC was set just right and quiet. I loved the patio. The owner was very friendly & fantastic with our transfers.

A little oasis of peaceful relaxation in a very beautiful but busy Dubrovnik. Old garden is a very easy walk down to all the historic sites and it's very close to the path leading up to the viewpoint overlooking the city. The apartment has everything you need and is private clean and comfortable. It is also very quiet especially at night . Our host was friendly and knowledgeable he was a great help Thanks !
