The host was very polite and caring. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, we felt like we were back in time. We were able to enjoy the hot tub under the stars, which was so romantic.

The host Tobias, was utterly charming ,welcoming and very attentive a true Gentleman. The room was beautiful, quirky and warm with a very comfortable bed.Lots of interesting books ,complimentary sherry tea and coffee .A very stylish bathroom with large shower and a beautiful marble floor.The garden and surroundings were stunning even in the winter cold.There is a shortish walk around the boundary ,along the river and back if you are lucky the resident Peacock is available for Photos.
Not a dislike ,just as a large and typically greedy man ,I particularly love my food ,the breakfast was tasty but on the small side for me , which was a shame ,the room we ate in was spectacular but so cold we could see our breaths ok for me but my wife was frozen ,in hindsight we should have eaten in our bedroom as this is an option.
