The hotel is an amazing oasis in a busy town. The breakfast was a tasty feast and the host was very thoughtful and charming. It was a night's break on a long journey and we left refreshed and ready .....

It was a wonderful bed and breakfast stay with a lovely host Eric who was so welcoming and helpful and made the most delicious breakfasts, including home made gluten free treats for me which was so much appreciated . We also loved seeing the chickens in the garden and enjoying their eggs for breakfast.

Perfect place to relax in Abbeville

Really lovely place in a peaceful location, but in the centre of Abbeville. The private gated parking with EV charging was really useful and one of the reasons we chose the hotel initially. We had a friendly welcome from the owner (and the various resident animals!) who was helpful and informative recommending a restaurant as we were unable to stay for Eric's home cooked set menu due to dietary requirements. Our room was on the top floor; the décor was a stylish mix between traditional and contemporary and there was a lovely bath and comfortable quiet bedroom. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool and spa, so would recommend staying at least two nights to make the most of it. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had with so many options (including gluten free) and a delicious omelette. It was a 5 minute walk to the centre of town which had a variety of bars and restaurants - had a nice drink in the friendly bar Le Bidule. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we are in the area again.

The attention to every detail was impeccable and our stay was made even better by such a lovely host. Our garden room was perfect and I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Great central location within walking distance to all the amenities. The gated parking was a bonus for us. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful historic house close to the bay of Somme

Lovely pool and gardens, with plenty of space to relax. Peaceful location and friendly host. Nice breakfast and tasty dinner. Lots of oldie-worldie charm

Lack of a shower (only hand held in bath tub). There are quite a few cats and digs on the property (including in the breakfast/dinner room) which may not be to everyone liking. A little over priced

Don't miss this hidden gem.

We stayed in the Princess Louise room, which was lovely. Air con and Nuxe products provided. Eric is a wonderful host, he speaks really good English. This hotel is truly a hidden gem, behind the gates, a swimming pool, fruit trees, courtyard, free range chickens, and free range cats and dogs await. Breakfast is superb, you can smell her croissants being baked at 7.30am. On site private parking and only a 5 minute at most walk into town. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful and quintessential French charm

The property is tucked away down a narrow side street. Once we went through the gates it was like walking into a little paradise. The most beautiful gardens and pool with animals roaming freely. The hotel and the hosts boast exemplary French charm. We will definitely return.

We traveled along the north coast of France for a week, and this was, without a doubt, the best accommodation we stayed in. A beautiful place with a big garden and free-roaming chickens, dogs, and cats. We were also lucky to have a fantastic dinner on-site. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the area.

A real find - and Eric was a wonderful host

A real find, Eric and his wife have created a beautiful place to stay. The entrance through the gardens is delightful and the animals roaming around were the cherry on the cake. Eric cooked dinner while we were there and it was very good, with fruits and vegetables from the garden. It was also superb value. Thanks Eric!

The Hotel and gardens were charming made even more so by the presence of exotic chickens and pedigree cats and dogs. The interior was beautifully decorated with antique furniture and our host, Eric was very welcoming and attentive.

We booked a room that was in the attic and although it had all the modern facilities and a very comfortable bed we found it a little cramped and rather warm in the hot weather.

We stayed in one of the self catering units. The decor and attention to detail and comfort are excellent. Eric is a very friendly and helpful host and communication with him was quick and easy. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast provided by Eric in the main house. The garden is stunning and the house has been carefully and tastefully renovated. We wished we were staying longer and plan to return soon.

Wonderful in every way

So much wonderful character within both the hotel and the grounds. Eric was an excellent host and provided a magnificent breakfast. I just wish that we could have been available for dinner as it smelled fabulous!

The narrow road in the approach to the property was really tight squeezing my car through due to a badly parked car, resulting in me scraping the alloy wheel on my hire car. Ouch!

Our most favourite stop over on the way to our home in Spain.

The building is beautiful and sympathetically renovated. The garden is tranquil with lots of lovely plants - the heated swimming pool is a bonus. We had one of the smaller rooms at the top. The bed was comfortable and toiletries provided. Host, Eric, was very welcoming and suggested local restaurants for an evening meal. It was ideal for a one night stop

Everything was the best. The house is beautifully decorated and our room and bed very comfortable. The attention to detail is incredible. The bed was so comfortable. The gardens are lovely. We had a 5 star dinner of Michelin standard. Prepared by the host Eric. Breakfast had so many delicious choices. Eric was so friendly and accommodating.

We couldn’t stay longer. We will return in the future with our bicycles and golf club.
