Cabin clean-a sign on road indicating cabins would be helpful-be careful road to cabins awful-huge potholes as road unad

beds were comfy & cabin clean

Bunk bed very flimsy.Drove 5 hrs and arrived when dark-not the cabin i had booked!.heating took a while to sort out.originally booked for 3 adults in a 7 bed cabin,brought my 2 sisters as extra as cabin big enough,had to pay a supplement of £75 for the extra adults,not sure why as nothing extra added for price.only 2 coffee pods in welcome pack even though originally 3 people booked.path from car park to cabin not lite and very uneven under foot.Log burner is available to use outside cabin but. seating not safe. Chair in living room broken(legs are not safe,).Light in 1 room does not work.

Beautiful, comfortable, highly recommended 👌

Location is beautiful, cabin is very comfortable and gorgeous decor, there is everything you could need there from extension leads to hair dryers, soap to board games all the little extras that make it a home from home. The privacy and space of the gardens and the little games shed made it great for the kids. The added bonus of the fruit trees to pick fresh plums from for breakfast. We will deffo be booking here again it was a home from home and perfect for our family. The wildlife around the cabin is great especially the neighbouring horse and Shetland pony.

The games shed was a little run down and needed a little clean, the shower didn't stay up great and the lock on the front door was a little stiff to open from inside but these are tiny minor things that never put us off at all and I hate having to list a dislike at all as overall we LOVE the cabin it exceeded our expectations a million percent for such an affordable price!

Great Break

The cabin is brilliant, everything you need for a self catering break. Loads of space for children to run around and plenty of games (inside and outside) Would highly recommend the cabin Great location for visiting Falkland Palace and villages and towns like Elie, Anstruther, Crail and St Andrews

The cabin had all the facilities and charm you would require for a relaxing stay away.

The property had everything you would need for your stay. The owner welcomed us on arrival. The owners cats were very friendly and would sit on our knee when we were relaxing outside on the porch. The location was very tranquil and quiet. The surrounding areas are very scenic if you head down to Elie and Pittenweem. Beaches look beautiful. You should try the farm shops on the way for some lovely fresh produce.

We had to keep remembering to step over the door frame when leaving or entering through the doorways but this is obviously due to the property being a cabin which added to its charm. We did get used to this within a couple of minutes.

The perfect hideaway

Peaceful and quiet. The fruit trees were great and the plums tasted amazing. Everything we needed was right there for us. Such thoughtful and friendly hosts. Blacketsyside Farm a short drive to the Farm Shop is worth a visit for coffee and cake and the chippy in Leven serves the best chips around.

I had a bad fall but my own fault really as I'd been warned about the raised lips on each doorway. The approach road was full of potholes but is maintained by the nearby farmer not the hosts so visitors just need to take care.

We had an amazing time in Leven and it all started with the Cabin. Every detail was perfect!! The setting, the staff, the whole place is just lush. Plenty of room for my family of 5. Can’t wait to go back!

We know the area well and decided to have a weekend away, found this cabin and glad we did! had everything we needed, nice quiet location - friendly hosts (and cats). Everything had been thought of and all facilities were available and in good working order. We will certainly stay again.

Dreadful

We could of had a nice welcome instead of when you pay you can have the keys ? Nothing like, did you have a good journey etc ? Would of been nice for him to help with all our luggage . Couldn’t get shower to work easy but got it sorted e eventually . We did not like to knock and ask hi as it was late, (9pm) Would of been nice to have small bottle of milk in fridge . Bear in mind this little 2 bed cabin in the bottom of his garden was £525 Feb 2 nights, taps in bathroom nearly coming off. We were woken at 5am both mornings to terrible Teri le noises on the roof then could not sleep sounded like rats or birds.. other people staying here would of had the same issue, he should of told us, he said it was squirrels. When we left I told him it wasn’t a good experience and the beds were poor poor quality m the cheapest mattress you could buy ! It would of been a nice gesture for him to emailed me an apology or offered a small refunds or send flowers. He wasn’t even interested .. very very poor and I am extremely upset about it. He needs to put a little money back and bring it to a better standard,

Myself and my family went for my husbands birthday. We had a fantastic time. The cabin had everything you needed, it was comfortable and clean. The location was spot on. My grandson loved the owners cats. We will definitely go back. Thankyou Debbie and Gavin for making us feel very welcome.

Nice cabin but area round it really needs a good tidy up.

Nice cabin which was well equipped. Nice rural location.

The area around the cabin was a bit of a mess. Lots of objects lying around which gave a poor overall impression. The heating really struggled to keep the cabin warm, so much so we had to light the stove (using logs at our on cost).
