Ok room but quite dusty.

Due to the pipe burst somewhere in town there was no water for quite a while (learn about it only after arrival) - but there were big bottles of water left by stuff in the reception area.

The whole building looked deserted or getting ready for the demolition. Next to the main road - very busy and noisy. Room was ok, but very dusty. Good effort in making breakfast nice, but the the cold cuts meats were old and slimy and cornflakes stale.

Maybe the shower could be a little warmer ,maybe we didn't know how to make it a bit warmer . We managed a quick shower but a little warmer would have been better.

Highly recommend booking!

The room we were originally supposed to stay in, the heating had broken. Paddy had messaged me to say he had changed our accommodation. We really appreciated that he got us sorted and the bar next to the new room even gave us a complimentary drink. The room was lovely, clean and extremely spacious! The staff at the bar next door were so kind and welcoming, and gave us recommendations for food and things to do. Would highly recommend booking!

Convenient location.

This was the tiniest room I stayed in throughout my week long travels in Ireland. Literally smaller than my closet at home. Tiniest of showers, also. It got the job done, but was surely nothing to write home about.

Great Location

Showers had very good water and heated up quickly! Bed was comfy and perfect for what I needed. There was a really good number of plugs in the room for me to reach from the bed. I didn't try the breakfast as I was gone early every morning but the room was set up wonderfully. Very friendly staff and were accommodating to my late arrival. Nice shampoo offered in the bathroom and extra toilet rolls. Towels were soft as well

Light above the mirror in the bathroom was not to be turned off. No need for the overhead light with it as it was very bright at least!

We won’t be back. Other B and Bs in the town looked far nicer

Nothing except its location. It looks nothing like the photo, no hanging baskets, not pretty at all.

No staff at all present. Self check in, self check out. No breakfast! Bread, cereal and cold meats available to help yourself. That’s it! No live music as suggested on the booking.com website. The pub below the accommodation isn’t even open for business.

Maid of Erin letdownwaste of money

I didn't like walking up to maid of Erin and seeing the place looking rundown . No notification of where the key was only for the lovely person cleaning the bar for the new owner as to where the key was we would have been standing outside the door. Been told the bar and restaurant was closed at least ayear .by people the cold breakfast, no equipment to make tea in the bed room,one towel it looked abit out dated the room itself been clean we would have gone home.Rang the persons number on the door got no answer left a message no reply but met him later he said sorry about not answering my call. He told us he only took over the place that the old owner had false advertising up. I have messaged ye once and this is my second time giving ye grading for the Maid of Erin I received no answer from ye. I have been using Booking .com for years but this was the worst place I ever been sent to

Great budget stay in Tipperary.

Great for me as a budget, solo traveller. The room and facilities were clean, and provided all my necessary needs, as in a private bathroom and toilet. Breakfast facilities I found to be generous. Communication with the host was positive, especially when I was flustered and a bit lost!

Do not book, we did not stay and left immediately and the owner promised to refund my money and did not.

Cheap not so cheerful

The only positive thing I can say is it's cheap

My bed sheets were dirty, the shower was leaking the whole time. So I got very little sleep. The pillows were like pancakes I had to call up my jacket to sleep on. There was only 2 wall sockets under the TV opposite the bed so I couldn't have my phone beside me, first world problems😂 Then we got the breakfast and the bread was mouldy

Everything The room was grubby, stains on bedding clearly of both blood and cum and lack of towelling. Overall an extremely run down property, even now the bar/restaurant that is shown on the app looks absolutely beautiful is now run down with a for rent sign in the window. Desperate, won't be staying and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Dirty, mouldy, and bug filled

There was a lock on the door and the toast in the morning was nice.

The room was filthy. I get in and on the back of the door is a towel covered in white crusty residue and bugs. The bathroom was mouldy. There were bugs everywhere. The sheets had brown residue on them. I slept on top of the bed because the sheets felt so dirty. They had the radiators on all day every day which made the bathroom very very hot. The shower was mouldy. The trash in the breakfast room wasn’t taken out for days at a time. There is no elevator so you have to drag all of your luggage up several flights of stairs on a narrow stairway.
