It’s ok stay for one night only

Confortable bed and nice room

The property is under construction, so someparts are missing proper floor tiles, a bit messy. Also, because the property has been rebuild to fit more rooms the walls are not properly isolated so you can hear the person in the other room snoring

Thanks to the host, Gerard who is very customer satisfaction focus and who will do whatever he can to ensure customer happiness.

Share bathrooms as a little outdated but we understand from the host some further renovation are planned so we still recommend the place which is overall very good.

It was a quick men’s rugby trip

The location was good and close to the Thomond Park rugby stadium. We didn’t have breakfast.

The hotel is located in a quiet, picturesque location. There's no outside noise at night. We had tea and coffee in the morning. We're very grateful that they were able to check us in after 11:00 PM. We used the kitchen. The room had warm radiators, which was very pleasant.

The listing on Booking.com says nothing about kitchen privileges. It turns out this property gives guests complete access to the kitchen, including appliances, cookware, utensils, and tables to sit on. The host even puts out some cold cereal and bread for toast for guests who would like a free breakfast. Definitely made the stay more enjoyable!

The host was absolutely terrific and actually gave my friend Dan and I a lift to town to our concer

To be honest I did not have breakfast but I did have a shower in the newly refurbished bathroom upstairs. The new power shower was so good and did revive me to full health after a long night out in limerick.

Everything about this place was fantastic made feel right at home straight away Gerald is one of the best hosts we every had great location 10 minutes from limerick city a centra 5 minutes away just a great stay we will be back

Any shortcomings were soon forgotten after sitting with the host and enjoying a cup of tea and conversation.

The location and price attracted us. The place is under a bit of construction, but the work that’s completed is beautiful. The host has excellent taste. The upstairs bathroom has gorgeous gigantic tiles like I have never seen. There are a few tiles left to be placed but apparently there are trades people shortages. The shower was modern, clean and had plenty of hot water. The host was so lovely and apologetic for the shortcomings of the place. We sat for more than an hour getting to know him and hearing about what he is doing with the place. We will definitely stay again.

The parking area is a bit rough, but It will be stunning inside and out once it is completed.

Absolutely loved our stay at this charming guesthouse! The highlight was without a doubt the fabulous owner, Gerry — warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel right at home, offering great tips on places to visit and even sharing some lovely stories. The guesthouse itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. It’s rare to find hospitality this genuine. Highly recommend — and we’ll definitely be back!

Terrible experience, avoid this place for your own safety.

The only good thing was that the mattress was very comfortable.

The place is filthy. After I arrived and I was getting ready for bed I did notic that the duvet cover is not clean, like if someone have slept there before, carpet looked not hoovered. Sink downstairs was leaking and the shower door was barely hanging on. When i asked for another room, there was no reply from the owner so i moved myself to clean looking room as it was getting very late at that point and i didn't know what to do and it looked like I'm on my own in that huge house (then i learned that the owner lives in the room downstairs). After about an hour since i have sent the email, owner decided to come out of his room and talk to me, and a striking smell of alcohol emanated from him. When i pointed out all the issues I had with the room, owner's respond was "room is clean, everything was washed, those are only stains ". I booked for two nights but after 1st nights I have decided to leave, I could not stay there another moment. Avoid this place.

It was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft.

There was one full bath to be shared with 8 rooms and the shower wasn’t working. Host needs to add “shared” bathroom and really should add 2 more bathrooms for that many rooms.

Good price and comfortable but no facilities and not told so disappointed

The bed was comfortable and room was nicely as they are doing refurbishment and reasonably priced and host was friendly and lovely kitchen facility.

Unfortunately we were not notified as we booked or on in advance that the actual room we booked with private bathroom was not available we were put in another room and had to use the en-suite of the room we had booked as a shared toilet facility also after a hot sweaty day and night due to hot weather we woke to be told no shower available in whole accommodation in use due to refurbishment! But due to our late arrival we just wanted to sleep. Room we were in was very hot even with windows opened.

Large bedroom but too many people to share 2 bathrooms with 9 bedrooms , we got up at 6.30 to shower but in use already then no hot water although we turned in the immersion as shown it gave hot water to sink but not shower Had two cold showers

The house was nice, with spacious rooms and a large comfortable bed. Gerrard was very friendly and accommodating and the kitchen was fully kitted out with everything I needed. Quiet countryside location that was less than a ten minute drive to Limerick city.

A peaceful sleep in the countryside

Arrived late Saturday night and was greeted by Gerard the owner at the door to make us feel so welcoming into his home he truly could not do enough for us you have full use of his kitchen where he provided tea,coffee etc we had a lovely peaceful sleep just a beautiful stay in the countryside we will definitely be returning to this property in the near future
