Castletroy Park Hotel Suites

Exceptionally spacious room and well-located

I only stayed for two nights, but Castle Troy Hotel & Suites was wonderful from start to finish. I arrived during a very busy wedding weekend, and despite having what looked like a hundred things happening at once, every member of the staff I interacted with was warm, patient, attentive, and genuinely kind. I was in Limerick primarily to attend a concert at Thomond Park and probably asked far more questions than the average guest. Not once did I feel rushed. The staff gave thoughtful advice about transportation, timing, and the local area, and helped make sure I got where I needed to be without stress. One staff member even gave me first-hand advice based on having just seen The Lumineers at Thomond Park earlier in the week, which helped me plan my timing perfectly. Ironically, I booked a suite that was far more accommodation than I needed for such a short stay, but it was comfortable, spotless, and exceptionally well equipped. The entire property felt welcoming and easy to settle into. What I’ll remember most, though, isn’t the room. It’s the people. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, and that level of hospitality is something you don’t forget. If I find myself back in Limerick, I would happily stay here again.

We were in an upstairs suite which had no lift. This was a bit of a handicap as we had two large suitcases and my wife has a bad hip. In all fairness we did not complain to the reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff very efficient.

Good hotel, nice food and ambiance
