Very clean and tidy hotel. Staff very helpfull and gave me good tips about parking and city life. The safe batteries ran flat causing me to be locked out, but swiftly sorted out by maintenance. I expect the hotel to be top notch as soon as renovations is sorted out!

The recent changes and additions were lovely to see. The coffee/tea selction has always been very good, with the little biscuits, but the chocolates were a nice treat. The little things do matter a lot. Well done all. We've been staying here since it was first opened by the original owners. Always a pleasure to stay here.

Nice hotel, only down fall is my room at the front is beside a bar and the noise went on to 12.30 with the bar then had to deal with everyone outside after so maybe ask for a room to the back

Room was clean and in the process of being updated. I am not sure that the AC actually worked but they had two windows and a fan. The hotel was close enough to walk from the train station and to many pubs and cafes.

The room was huge, clean, and luxurious. The only problem I had, which the hotel couldn't help with was girls laughing and talking outside our room at the end of the hallway. We only had 3/4 roll of toilet paper in our room, and the weird one, is no outlets next to the bed, so we could plug in phones or the CPAP machine.

Our room was impeccably well-maintained each day. Always felt comfortable due to the cleanliness and everything like coffee, tea, free waters, were refilled without question each day. The restaurant in the hotel was exceptionally good and we ended up eating there most days for at least one meal. It was also not very expensive and such good food. The hotel offered a 27Euro parking pass for 7 days. This was very reasonable considering the fact that the parking ramp’s normal cost was 27 Euros per each 24 hours. We enjoyed this parking pass with unlimited, multi-entry parking just a block and a half away. Great experience at the George.

Very clean, comfortable and staff were truly accommodating. After a long day and a half of travel, we were able to get in to our room a little early which was wonderful. The restaurant (Vincenzo Grill) was amazing and there were many pubs and shops easily within walking distance.

Check in was super easy. The staff was helpful to direct us to the nearby parking garage. The room was clean and bathroom was upgraded and had toiletries. There was no air conditioner, but a cooling fan was provided and it was sufficient

This is a very nice property. Very clean, nice amenities, great restaurant. The only challenge is staying here in the summer if you have a room facing the street. It’s nice that the windows open enough for air circulation, but unfortunately, the beeping noise from the crosswalk signal is tough to tune out. We appreciate that they have tried to help this by providing 2 fans in the room. If both fans are used and the windows are open just long enough to air out the room. I’m sure this is probaly more an American problem as we are used to A/C.

Room was functional. Hotel entrance on busy street, with only set-down spot, which was clearly being used as a parking spot given same car there an hour after we checked in. No onsite parking. Discounted parking access to public shopping centre carpark nearby. Desk staff were friendly and efficient. Didn’t use the restaurant or other facilities. Probably great as a business visitor (no car) hotel

The only issue was that our room faced the street and with the windows open, there were a lot of shouting drunk people passing by (maybe because of the hurling match that day?). Place was nice and clean, but I received an email request to let them know when I would be checking in. When I was delayed, I called to let them know and the person I spoke to was very nice, but said it didn't matter because their reception desk was manned 24/7. It made me wonder why they needed to know when I was checking in then. And when I did check in, I was tired and hungry. I asked if the pub across the street was OK for dinner and the man at the front desk said he had no idea and recommended the hotel restaurant. Staff should be able to review the places nearby.
