There are much nicer places in Laarne and Ghent than this.
Location is beautiful. Main house and outdoor spa area look beautiful. Laarne is just outside Ghent. Both quaint places. Staff in local brasserie and bakery were very friendly.
The wellness spa suite is overlooked by the main family home. During our stay someone sat at a window in the main property , monitoring our every move. This person sat by the window looking into the pool. It felt invasive. He also blared music meaning we only heard the boom from the base notes. The ‘private’ suite is anything but private. The sauna door is broken. The swimming pool had not been cleaned. The room was uncomfortably warm even with windows and doors open. Cats roam freely. Wasn’t helpful for me as I’m allergic to cats. Never used the jacuzzi because of lack of privacy.The final nail in the coffin for this place was the exquisite breakfast. For 25 euro each you can have day old supermarket ,highly processed rolls, half a croissant, half a pain au chocolat an egg, orange juice, coffee, mini cereal, carton of yoghurt and Jam. The photo is 50 euro breakfast for 2!!By comparison for 8euro in our previous guest house we had home made, organic produce and bread fresh from the bakers. This place definitely represents style over substance. Price point is way off the mark. If being watched is your vibe you will like it here. If you value privacy and quality - avoid at all costs. Had the sun not been shining we would have left.

Very nice poolhouse
I loved the kindness of the owners. The guesthouse is really clean and cosy. The hot tub experience was great even if it was snowing. I fully recommend this place.
Maybe the breakfast is a little too expensive for what it’s served but it was tasty
