Joanne is one of the most engaging and welcoming hosts I've had the privilege and pleasure to meet. The attention to details in the cabin's charm, warmth, and comfort. The landscaping and surrounding woods added to the warmth and made for a calming, almost-otherworldly environment. My husband and I journeyed to Scotland for our ten-year wedding anniversary. When we arrived to the cabin, we were greeted with a delightful "Happy Anniversary" message covered in rose petals. It was a perfect way to begin our adventures--it also made us feel celebrated and seen. While we fell in love with Scotland as a whole, we adore the cabin in Carluke--it was our most treasured of places to stay.
