    My wife and I had an incredibly disappointing experience during our stay. When we arrived for breakfast, our waiter explicitly told us that our food would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. Based on that assurance, we sat down and waited. Unfortunately, those 10 minutes turned into a much longer, indefinite wait. Despite the restaurant not appearing overly busy, our food never arrived. When we eventually managed to get the waiter’s attention to ask for an update, he admitted that they had completely forgotten our order. As a result, we had to leave, due to our taxi arriving to an important religious event, without eating anything at all. When I raised this issue at reception the following day, another waiter—who was standing closer to us—refused to take responsibility for the mistake and simply told me they had been busy the previous morning. This response was dismissive and did not acknowledge the failure in service. We paid a significant amount of money for our stay, including breakfast, yet we did not receive the service we were promised or the standard we expected. It is one thing for a kitchen to be backed up, but to be forgotten entirely after being given a specific (and short) timeframe is completely unacceptable.
