Everything has been perfect. From the welcome to the goodbye.
Sneaky yummy goodies was a beautiful touch.
The hot tub used daily.
The gym looked amazing alas against our religion on holiday and throughout New Year celebrations.
Communal sauna over looking the pond so wonderful. Our dog had his fun everyday taking a dip in the pond.
The walks around the property have been breathtaking distraction for the husband, the dog was very happy.
Everything you require for your stay is in the property. We’ve re booked again for another property that the owner has near by, as her attention to detail is exceptional .
You won’t be disappointed .

Marcella was a great host and met us upon arrival. The location is great and the accommodation, grounds & facilities are of a high standard. We really had an enjoyable stay.
The odour from the poultry unit at times was intense so the doors and windows needed to be closed. The additional costs for the hot tub were not highlighted until after the property was booked.

Excellent stay at the stables. Marcella brilliant host. Super facilities in a lovely location. High points were the hot tub, sauna, gardens, gym and of course the table tennis table!

This property is not accessible for disabled people. My wife could not use her wheelchair as it’s too narrow. The bathroom created big issues. A big step into the shower. She had to be lifted in and as there were no grab rails it was very difficult to get washed. After a few scary moments she gave up trying and had to try to balance on her frame at the sink to get washed. We only used the hot tub twice because of this issue. You have to bathe before and after which was just too difficult. She had brought a zimmer frame to get around inside but the size of the bathroom meant she could not manoeuvre easily around and it took up a lot of her energy. We don’t know why this was listed as having disabled facilities. There must be a clear understanding of people’s needs and basic ones such as bathing daily are essential. Thankfully she put up with it for the three days we spent there. Had we been longer it would have become impossible. The cottage is perfect for able bodied visitors. It’s clean, comfortable and pretty, the breakfast items were a nice touch. The gardens are beautiful. It’s a shame we won’t be returning
The property was listed as suitable for disabled. That’s the only reason we chose it. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The bathroom door opens in a way that if you are on a walking frame you get trapped inside, there are no rails to steady yourself anywhere in the bathroom, it’s dangerous for those who need aids to get around and stabilise
