About this lodge
Eastwood Lodge is situated conveniently next to footpaths leading to Walberswick and Southwold. It’s located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars.
The lodge is situated in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, a fifteen-minute walk away from the captivating Walberswick town, and its stunning beaches.
The lodge is comprised of five separate units:
On the ground floor, there is the main unit and a smaller unit, with three more units on the first floor, which have a range of set-ups to meet the needs of a variety of guests.
This is a spacious, and newly refurbished studio on the first floor, which sleeps up to two people, with its own en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. It’s fully equipped, with a television and internet, and the kitchenette includes a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, with all the cutlery and utensils you need.
Firstly, there are communal washing facilities, which consists of a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink. Additionally, the guests are encouraged to enjoy the vast garden which surrounds the lodge and are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge of £10 payable in cash to the housekeeper. However, please be aware that there is a working farm next-door, which is not part of the lodge, so we kindly ask the guests not to enter this property out of respect for the farmer.

We had a really enjoyable and relaxing few days at Eastwood Lodge. We had a lovely big, impeccably clean room with ensuite bathroom, a lovely comfy bed and sofa and a beautiful view. Great location for days out in Suffolk. Would highly recommend.

Property lovely and clean. Tea, Coffee, Sugar, cereals, milk, oj and more were supplied which was a very nice gesture.
Property positioned well for nice walks. We walked to Southwold one day, took an hour so doable !
The only negative for us and of which is out of the owners control was that other guests were running up and down the stairs. The walls are very thin ! All in all a lovely little place.

Enjoyable short break in Suffolk. Booking process very easy and quick response from host. Travel information and check in process good. Property was clean, had everything we needed and was next to paths leading to Southwold and Walberswick, so no need to use car unless you want to travel further afield. Stairs to upstairs apartments were a bit steep and lighting wasn’t great in hallway but other guests were very considerate.
