The Theberton Lion

A great little cabin located right at the back of the pub garden, there are 2 separate cabins with a little patio, which overlooks open fields. The cabin is comfortable with a table and 2 chairs, a full sized fridge, toaster, microwave cups, plates etc The landlord/lady were very welcoming. Pub food was good and reasonably priced. Rock and Roll bingo was enormous fun! Good selection of beers/wines. There is another pub walkable from Theberton, 1 mile, The Eels foot Inn, which is lovely 25 minute stroll down a leafy lane. Overall a great stay a short drive from all the suffolk highlights we wished to visit.

It was very hot in the cabin (we were just entering a heat wave) and the one small fan had very little impact. The sink in the bathroom is tiny and it was difficult to fill the kettle/washing up bowl with this.

Great location and being at the pub was lovely. Quiet and peaceful. Quirky accommodation.

Shower, as the head didn't stay in the holder and the height was very restrictive. Pillows were super hard and the bed linen was all bobbly so quite rough to sleep in.

It was pleasant and peaceful. The pub is run by Tom & Helen and is a friendly place for some good real ale and excellent pub grub. Close to Minsmere if you like birding. In addition if you pick the right Saturday night you can get some home grown RocknRoll Bingo thrown in.

Quiet at night , comfortable bed clean accommodation

Tap in sink sprayed everywhere, making it irritating to use & difficult filling a small jug to fill enough for tea .
