A wonderful modern ski chalet with a sizeable private sauna and decent access to the main ski areas.

The property is modern and very clean. The private sauna is great, easy to use and in great condition and a decent size, was enough for 6 adults to sit in at once! The private ski boot and storage room is quite large and has heated boot hangers! There are 3 toilets and 3 Showers spread accross 4 rooms, which was great for a big group. The kitchen seemed well equiped for large meals. The kitchen-living room area is big and a great social space, with very comfortable and clean sofas and seats. Every was modern and clean. There were TVs in nearly every bed room for those who like a bit news with thier morning coffee and netflix streaming seemed to work fine wherever we tested. The 70 bus to zell am see and the main skiing area stops a short <5 min walk from the property. There is a lovely view of the zell am see town out the windows facing west (in the kitchen and in some of the bedrooms. There was a small local shop and some nice reasonably priced restaurants in thumersbach (check out christian gasthaus!), just 10 minutes walk down the road, (though they were closed on some days (eg the shop was closed on sunday))

Not a fault of the property, but the buses are a little limited in the area, the 70 bus from zell am see to the house (at stop "Thumersbach Kirchenplatz") and back only goes once an hour at key times (8:30-11:30 and 16:30-19:30), and the last bus is at around 7pm. There were other options if not skiing and walking, but if you are skiing just be aware that this affects your apres ski times and getting meals in zell am see/elsewhere, however there were accesible taxi services in zell am see if you wanted to stay out later (taxi: ~25eur zell am see to this property).

Very nice, tidy house for 2/3 families, 10 minutes ride to ski areas and 5 minutes to Zell am See city center. Nice ski room and sauna.

We were not informed before arrival, that we need to buy eg. dishwasher tabs for our stay. House was equipped only for one day.

Nice home for small groups close to Zell am See

Close to the city centre of Zell am see. Really nice restaurants in the direct neighbourhood. The house was well equipped, cosy and nice. Nice bathrooms,

Exceptional

A few weeks before we arrived the house, Jan gave me whole information very kindly. The house (Schale) was enough big for our 3 families and the kitchen and living room also was perfect for us. All the rooms and toilets are well renovated as modern style and very warm. The sauna facility was also very nice to enjoy it after ski riding. Max 3 person can enjoy the sauna at the same time. Despite we could not enjoy the facility due to the low temperature, outside there are very nice terraces with great mountain and lake (Zell am See) view. I really like to enjoy the terrace if I come again in warmer season. Definitely, this house is best of best among over 20 houses where I stayed through Booking.com.

The shortcut street was blocked due to construction while we were staying. Therefore, we had to turn around Zell am See every time when we went to Kaprun for skiing. But, it was also fine for me to enjoy the nice mountain view in the morning.

Everything was perfect. Very clean. All you need for self catering in the kitchen. We were a group of friends. The house is big and every couple had its privacy with it's own bathroom. Nice garden for barbecue next to the stream. We had an excellent vacation there.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage auch für größere Gruppen und Familien mit Kindern

Die Lage ist super, in direkter Umgebung mehrere Spazierwege und der See (Seebad und auch eine kostenlose Badestelle direkt im Kurpark) ist nach kurzer Gehzeit von etwa 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Es kann von Zell am See auch gut mit dem Bus (bzw. generell mit den Öffis) angereist werden. Auch die Verbindung mit dem Boot nach Zell am See ist untertags super. Der Garten ist groß und gepflegt, das Haus hat genug Platz geboten für 3 Paare mit insgesamt 3 Kleinkindern (nachdem wir in der Küche/Wohnraum ein paar überzählige Sessel in den Keller verbannt und uns so ein bisschen Platz geschaffen haben). Ausreichend Bäder und Toiletten für die Anzahl der untergebrachten Personen. Die Sauna funktioniert schnell und einwandfrei. Küche ist gut ausgestattet! Vermieter und Hausmeisterservice antworten recht flott.

Für Familien mit Kindern im Familienbett ist es unpraktisch, dass die Doppelbetten aus 2 Einzelbetten zusammengeschoben sind und daher in der Mitte auseinander rutschen. Schade, aber keine Kritik: wir hätten uns gefreut, wenn man direkt zum Thumersbach hinunter könnte, das ist von den Bildern her nicht ganz klar. Geht aber natürlich aufgrund der Höhendiffernenz nicht so gut, das könnte noch irgendwo angegeben werden.

WRÓCĘ JEŚLI TYLKO BĘDĘ MOGŁA

Dom pięknie położony w dolinie odchodzącej od Jeziora Zeller, naprzeciw Zell am See. Blisko do 3 regionów narciarskich na jednym karnecie - to udogodnienie dla narciarzy. Dla wędrujących na nogach -piękne ścieżki trawersami doliny. Piękne widoki z okna na dolinę Thumersbach, Zell am See i stoki narciarskie, a wieczorem na jeżdżące ratraki:). W domu wszystko co było potrzebne do dobrego wypoczynku - 4 sypialnie, 3 łazienki, dodatkowa toaleta i sauna. Pościel i ręczniki w cenie. Kuchnia w pełni wyposażona - dużo talerzy, kubków, szklanek, kieliszków. Jedynie przydałby się dodatkowo jeden duży garnek na zupę czy gotowanie makaronu (11 osób). Nowoczesny piekarnik i mikrofala, zmywarka. Cały dom dobrze i gustownie urządzony. Każdy mógł znaleźć ciche miejsce dla siebie albo posiedzieć razem w przytulnej jadalni:)
