We travelled to Middle Wallop from Gatwick airport and was easy drive and halfway to our down South location. Great place to stop, had everything we needed for a one night stay. We ate dinner at the George which was excellent and breakfast (included) was also very good.
It was a very hot over 30 degree day when we stayed so we had to sleep with the window open so road noise was a bit of an issue, think would've been fine if we'd have slept with window shut. Shower was a little weak

Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly.
Room was dirty. Old tissue under bed, carpet not vacuumed. Handprints and smeary marks on room mirror and window. Could not get hot water from shower mixer tap either morning or evening for shower.
