Mauro was an excellent host and did his best to make sure we were looked after, especially as i am gluten intolerant

Hidden authentic Italian Suprise

For an out the way location. What a lovely suprise. It's situated with a pizzeria and bar . We arrived quite late at 9pm. There was a party in full swing DJ , Karoke dancing. So we agreed to join as we needed food and drinks . The pizza was amazing and the beers flowing. Even tho we had very little /zero Italian and they had the same English we had a great night at a very reasonable price including room , drinks (lots) and Pizza .

Very cosy, familiar, friendly. They have a spectacular restaurant with food like at home. Thankful to them for their kindness and hospitality.

I normally ignore the really bad reviews...but please read this before booking.

The mountain location (ie the location only) above Genoa is good

I love to write reviews of the many wonderful places where we stay with Booking.com, but I really must warn you that this is a property to avoid, especially if you normally stay in friendly welcoming locations with Booking.com, it simply should not be on their list of available properties. Here’s why, and be sure to look at my photos: (1) the welcome was non existent. Theres a pizza restaurant attached and it was a young staff member who coldly pointed us to our rooms and then disappeared. (2) There was NO aircon (not a big deal, but untrue, and thats not good) (3) We were obliged to share a bathroom - again, not what we were told when we booked. (4) Our room key was not unique on our corridor. (5) The bathroom is an electricity deathtrap and (6) the rooftop ‘table and chairs’ area has a 2.5m drop to the ground on two sides with almost no protection (the wooden fence is loose and broken - see photo). (7) This place is unsafe for children. We were able to warn our teenagers, but you and your young children are at risk (see photos). (8) The bathroom has a washing machine extension which can be unplugged by children to reveal live 240V male plug and connectors. (9) It wasnt cheap but it was really cheap (if you know what i mean!) (10) This property should not be open to travellers and needs to be inspected and forced to fix its many issues, especially the safety issues. I feel bad in saying all this, but it really needs to be said. Ultimately I wish the owners well because i dont like being the bearer of bad news and I know that property owners need to earn money, especially in these difficult days. Im happy to be contacted by Booking.com on tis matter. Adrian

Auf dem Weg nach Genua sind wir hier für eine Nacht gewesen. Das Personal war super freundlich - einfach herzliche und offene Menschen. Das Abendessen war super.

Ich hätte mir zum Frühstück etwas mehr gewünscht.

Si queréis vivir una verdadera experiencia como casa familiar italiana, este es vuestro lugar!. Comida y desayuno casero con mucho amor. Se nota el cariño y la dedicación en cada gesto y espacio del hostal. Un matrimonio mayor muy encantador y cercano. Te hace sentir como en casa, y desearías que te adopten🤗🥰 También queremos hacer mención a la camarera del bar-restaurante que se esmeró en traducirnos y enseñarnos cada plato del menú para decidirnos, disfrutando un buen rato y bonita velada. Muy agradable, divertida y servicial. Muchas gracias por todo!💙

Een aanrader voor wie houdt van van eenvoud en authenticiteit

Eenvoudige en charmante B&B met een uitstekende Italiaanse keuken, zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten in het restaurant. Heel hartelijke eigenaars waar niets teveel voor is. Ligging in prachtig natuurgebied, gelukkig niet erg bekend in toeristisch circuit.

Inrichtingen wat gedateerd, kamers zonder eigen badkamer. Niet dat dat ons heeft gestoord!
