Cottage beautiful, beds comfy, beautiful views. Nice enclosed dog area.

Small things like 2 tea towels would be nice, pepper in cupboard and small bottle of milk on arrival. But we would highly recommend .

Fabulous stay in a beautiful area

The cottage is in a beautiful area, very clean with outside space to enjoy the scenery. Andy was very friendly. Cottage was about 2 miles from nearest town ( Helmsley which was lovely) Would definitely return.

The shower pressure wasn’t very high, also there were only 4 of most things like knives and forks, could have done with a couple more and a glass bowl, jug and grater.

Fabulous

We have had the most lovely stay. Helen and Dave are delightful and have thought of everything. Cleanliness and coronavirus aspects superb. They seem to have thought of everything. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their beautiful little cottages. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning view across the valley. Country walks within 100 m of the house and no need use your car at all. Great place for walkers and people who want to relax in friendly, well-kept, cute cottages. The EV charging point is an added bonus. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

Lovely cosy cottages in a beautiful part of the country.

The location is right at the end of a small village right next to a farm, so we had baby lambs and cows in the small fields next to the cottages. There were amazing views across the valley with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunsets. The cottage was incredibly clean and precautions had been taken against Covid. We were almost too warm, the central heating was great and the wood burner really belted out the heat so even my fiancee, who gets cold when the mercury is still in double digits, was comfortable. The beds were spectacular and I don't think we've slept this well for ages! The area is great as well, with a couple of walks going from Sproxton, and Helmsley is just down the road for some delicious cafes, bakeries and butchers. We would recommend going to Rievaulx Abbey (do the walk for woodland flowers and friendly horses) which was the highlight of the trip.

The only complains are the weather was pretty awful for part of the stay but I suppose I can't blame the cottage for that.
