Quiet, private and scenic location on a working farm. Quaint and beautifully decorated cottage which was spotlessly clean

Honestly loved every part of the stay.

Just back from staying at Summerfield Cottage for a few days. The Cottage was idyllic and tranquil with a real open fire in the livingroom. Cottage had everything you need for a self catering accommodation with clear instructions on how to use appliances. Lovely fenced off private garden which was great to sit out with our morning coffee and gave our dog a wee bit freedom. Friendly and welcoming hosts who had left us fresh eggs and milk for our arrival, lovely touch. 15min drive to the park and ride to go into York. Some lovely towns close by to visit with shops, cafes and walled gardens. Would definitely book if we're holidaying in this area again.

Lovely location and comfortable cottage

We loved our stay; our toddler enjoyed the animals and the play equipment outside, and she loved playing with the owners' daughter (who was very kind!). We had everything we needed, even a stairgate, heaters and recycling. Thank you for the eggs as well. The location was fantastic, near so many lovely sights and restaurants. We hope to be back!
