Host was abusive and racist towards us and invaded our privacy

Clean

We felt so uneasy about the host's behaviour that we placed a broom under the door handle to prevent her from entering while we slept. Upon check out we found a flat tyre on our car, the only tyre not visible from the apartment or road. This was suspicious as we had checked the tyre pressure the night before. The garage found no puncture and concluded someone must have drained the air. I saw the host peering through our window. When she realised I saw her, she quickly scurried away. The host accessed the property while we were out, moved our belongings, including placing a wet pair of my clean underwear over our computer screen. The beds were left unmade, which left us wondering why she entered if she wasn’t servicing the apartment. She contacted me with photos of our belongings, insulting us and claiming the plastic protector on her table was damaged from eating pasta and demanded we pay to replace it whilst we were still staying there. The night before checkout she and another man banged on the back door and complained at us while I stood only in a towel from the shower and my son was naked. She refused to come back after our children were asleep and threatened to call the police because we had moved the TV to use the desk and bed to the wall for my baby's safety, which was against house rules. She then sent racist and abusive messages to us. Our bag was a problem to the Host because it might scratch floors. She wouldn’t let us use the jacuzzi despite it being listed. We are an ordinary family with young children and after travelling to over 100 countries and staying in more than 1,000 accommodations of all types, we have never been accused of leaving a property messy, dirty, or damaged. The negative reviews for this property frequently mention the host's unprofessional, intrusive and confrontational behaviour, I expect a response no different. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We were provided with coffee and tea and towels and extra blankets, it was warm and luxurious. The host was very friendly and understandable. She gave us precious advices and recommendations. Probably this is the best place to choose in the city!

Everything! The locations was great, the size was great, the place was freshly renovated, the host was great, the beds were super comfy, we enjoyed the small yard and the swing, it was very clean. Really good value for money!

We felt like home

The host was very kind and supportive, the apartment was spotless clean, with everything you need inside. Internet speed was great, even for streaming. The swing on the terrace was highly appreciated by my wife and my daughter. Belogradchik as a town, has almost nothing to offer, but The Rocks, the surrounding nature, the caves are unearthly beautiful. The Rocks area worth to be explored as there are many beautiful hidden paths and breathtaking view points. I fully recommend visiting the two caves in the area, Venetsa and Magura, they are both amazing. We visited a lot of beautiful places in Europe, but what we saw here is so unique, so amazing, as nowhere else.

We couldn't go anywhere without the car, as the most of the streets to The Rocks are steep. This wasn't an issue, we just hoped that we could walk everywhere. Regarding the apartment, only one minor thing the host should try to fix. The smell of cigarettes' smoke in one of the bedrooms (maybe to try to negotiate a little bit with the neighbor beneath :-) )

Pohodlné ubytování na klidnějším místě. Doporučuji.

Byli jsme ve čtyřech. Perfektně vybavený byt s dostatkem soukromí pro každou dvojici. Ocenili jsme v oknech sítě proti hmyzu. Velmi ochotná a milá paní domácí. Poradila i s ostatním, pomohla s rezervací v restaurací. Tam bylo vynikající jídlo, ale restaurace je 1,2 km od ubytování a závěr je do prudkého kopce. Bezpečné a bezproblémové parkování přímo u domu.

Snad jen, že venku v noci rušilo pravidelné spouštění klimatizace. Museli jsme mít zavřená okna. Ale nepředstavuje to velký problém, každá ložnice má svoji klimatizaci.
