Large dog barking in the room next to us!!!

Why was Cujo able to stay in the room next to us??? I was looking for a place for me and my wife to get away for a bit of peace and try relax for our anniversary. It was very hard. From the moment we checked in the hotel around 4:30 PM we could hear a very large dog, barking and barking and barking right on the wall by our bed. I was trying to close my eyes from the drive to Austin. And I couldn’t even rest with all the barking. I do not get a lot of time off so I was really looking forward to enjoying this time with my wife and I really didn’t expect that from Hyatt. Even the next morning we continued to hear the large dog bark. I mentioned it to the staff twice, and even as a dog, and whoever brought the dog checked out, the dog was ripping and roaring at everyone down the hallway. Overall i was just really super disappointed with the experience at this hotel, and not sure if I even will stay with Hyatt again!!! Thank you, Thomas

It was a good trip and it accommodated us very well on a very important nieces wedding.

The people were very friendly. It was very clean & quiet. It was a short distance to the wedding we were to attend. Good breakfast. The room was very roomy and accommodated four of us easy. Check-in time was at 3 PM, but our wedding destination was at 5 PM and with four women, It would’ve been hard to get ready after traveling for five hours.. but we arrived around 1:30 PM and they went ahead and let us into our room early. Thank goodness. No problem.

Told to get our own extra linens that we needed & extra pillows. There was four of us in one room. No room service. The couch bed was horrible. Probably OK for children to sleep on, but not an adult. The blankets were in bad shape,had holes in them & were not soft. I suggest bringing your own blanket. Also, no bell boys you had to bring your own luggage to the room. So if you are disabled, you might want to think about somewhere else to stay.

That the room we had bed bugs in it. I went and told them in the front office and they did give us another room. But I am sorry I think we should have gotten more for the discomfort we had to pass.

Horrible guest relation and problem solving.

The place is clean

We got a power outage on our room. And we wait almost an hr in front and f the receptionist talking to his manager till give us the other room key. It’s really frustrated and annoying and unprofessional to left your guest standing for almost an hour and spoke on the phone with who ever title in the hotel. Also I could not imagine that happened in Hayat place hotel. The receptionist did not give us the new room in less we started to told him we will get the police. I mean everything is maybe happened but the way of how problem managed it’s really horrible. I just sleep for 4 hrs for this bad situation before long day of work travel.

Breakfast was good but need to change the meat and cereal variety. Had the same cereal all three days, had pork patties 2 days and pork links 1 day need to add bacon or ham and have two choices instead of one

Hyatt Place is a good place to stay with amazing staff!

Place was good. Front desk staff were really helpful and friendly. They catered to every ask that we had.good breakfast options too.

Bathroom door lock was broken and it was difficult to manage. Beds were not very comfortable with perhaps springs not doing well. Felt it had to be replaced. I had asked for additional pillows in my request prior to check in but was not available( they provided later when I went to ask).

Staff was professional and courteous. Would like to give a special mention to the young man that checked us in, I believe his name was Gerald. Excellent people skills and temperament.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, but I'm not used to not sleeping next to my wife.

Breakfast was good and location for the event we went out for was nearby.

They gave us the wrong room. We had reserved a king and were put in a room with two beds. They said there was another customer with the same last name and they got confused. We just got there in time to leave our things and got back late in the evening that we just stayed in the room.
