We arrived at the flat on a Sunday evening, a time when people are usually at home enjoying time with their families. Somehow, that made our arrival feel even more special, because from the very first moment, we felt at home in a place we had never visited before. Michael welcomed us warmly when we arrived. We were delayed on the way and arrived later than expected, but luckily this wasn’t a problem at all, which we really appreciated. The flat has everything you need to experience a little piece of authentic Danish life. It feels personal, comfortable and genuinely lived-in rather than simply being a place to stay. And the lovely little backyard was the cherry on top. A wonderful stay and a place that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Nothing to point out.

I loved the location. 2 blocks from main train line, 1 block from market, 7-11 and main street. Close to beach where you could rent bikes using an app. His home had a beautiful garden with comfortable chairs looking at other lovely homes and flowers. The light in the house was nice and the bedding was very comfortable. Fluffy down comforters and pillows which fit our family of 5 easily. He met us with a big loaf of sourdough bread and butter and fruit which we ate for 3 days happily. It was affordable compared to hotels in downtown and we were so much happier here. As central as you could ask for without the chaos of being too central. Easy train ride to Nyhavn and Tivoli.

It was hot and Michael gave us fans which made the place perfectly comfortable. No laundry but we were fine without it.

A cute apartment with good amenities like complimentary fruit, drinks, coffee. Enough room for four people. Michael was accommodating.

The towels and bedding smelled of cigarette smoke and the apartment had a musty smell that actually made my packed clothes smelly as well.
