Lovely at first glance but quite a few issues overall.

The decor and space in the apartment was lovely and the apartment felt very clean.

We were sent the wrong information which meant we walked in on other guests, we have received an apology but still not ideal. The parking that was ‘allocated’ was never once available for our whole stay which meant we had to park further away. The bed and sofa bed were both very hard and not very comfortable. The noise from the house above was so loud, we could hear every step of anyone and the dog going up and down the stairs and could hear snoring and talking (unsure if this was from the other apartment or the house above). The pipes in the kitchen were very smelly when we used the hot water to wash up.

Comfortable stay in Bath

Furnishes & fittings top quality. Very peaceful. Very pleasant surroundings. Good WIFI. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Good bathroom

Parking situation not the greatest but not a big problem. Access a bit difficult for a retired couple but not a major issue. Would have liked a washing machine but then again none was advertised. A suggestion for the owner is to advertise more effectively with photos of the apartment - there was only one of the bed on booking.com

great place for a couple of days, recommend for a couple or a family with 2 small kids.

This was a great location just out of town but a nice walk in and out (as long as you are ok with a Hill). Excellent facilities, bathroom fantastic and the kitchen had everything you need.

Good location but not a restful place if you are looking for a quiet time

- Location - 5 min drive to the city centre - Clean and modern looking flat with a view to the garden - Flat included everything you may need for a short stay

The flat seems to suffer from bad sound insulation - we could hear each step while they walked in the rooms around us, even at 1 am! The noise started again at 6 am each day - which is not ideal when you hope to relax and sleep in. We could even hear the washing machine running on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. We came to Bath to go to the spa - we had lovely morning sessions on Saturday and after lunch we wanted to rest at our accommodation but with the noise and even the sounds of arguing coming from the rooms around us, it was sadly not possible.

Great self-contained apartment at a competitive rental

The apartment has been finished to a very high level. None of your usual 'good enough' fittings, everything from the kitchen through to the bathroom fittings were quality products. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements, cutlery and crockery. Access was easy and the owners sent through all the details and the property 'Manual' well in advance.

Whilst we didnt ask to change the hours, checkin from 5pm and checkout by 10am was somewhat restrictive compared with most properties I've used. The bed seemed a little saggy and could be due a replacement. The TV in the lounge was fine, in a perfect world I would have appreciated one in the bedroom also. But generally this is nit-picking

Excellent communication before arrival. Leaving dog bowls, treats and a blanket was a lovely surprise for my dog. Secure outdoor area too.

the price was the reason on why we chose this place and because it had a fridge. we needed a fridge to keep milk for the baby fresh. the only thing we didn’t like was the fact it was literally in the people house. just made us feel like we had to be quiet and didn’t want the baby crying to much and disturbing them.

A nice room but overall disappointing, unwelcoming & unsupportive hosts. Not disability friendly.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and sofa and a small extra bedroom where we were able to put our luggage.

Host not welcoming, focused on what we couldn't do and tried to get my husband to park a long way down the road to unload which was impossible with so much luggage. We are senior citizens in our 70s & I have restricted mobility but weren't offered any assistance. The host was more concerned about us not letting their dog out & not blocking their neighbours (which we weren't!!). The photos of the property made it look as if it was on the ground floor but in fact there were two steep sets of steps, first to get down to the front door & then to the lower ground floor which is on the level of the garden so it was difficult to access. The notes for guests were full of prohibitions, not to go into the garden or use the pool (we hadn't even known it was there!). The conservatory was out of bounds. After being briefly shown around we didn't see our hosts again, no-one even came to speak to us when we left. The soundproofing was poor & whilst the instructions for guests emphasised the need to be quiet in this "communal household" we actually heard footsteps overhead & music at various times. The fridge was too small to put our drinks in & the plumbing was not working well. Every time we used the bathroom there was a loud pump noise & on the morning we left the toilet wouldn't flush & almost overflowed & none of the basins, sinks or shower would empty. We didn't see our hosts to be able to inform them & then the problem seemed to be resolved. Hardly any wardrobe hanging space. We couldn't use the garden furniture on the small patio outside our room as it was wet & we had nothing to wipe it down with. Described as "Rooms in Central Bath" in fact the property is not central so we had to drive into Bath.
