Beautiful, comfortable, spacious cottage in a beautiful setting

The property has been beautifully converted, is a great size, has comfortable furniture & bed & comes well equipped. The location is fantastic, very quiet, lots of wildlife & the most amazing cat I’ve ever met! Excellent location for visiting Wells & Bath, Glastonbury etc

The aga fan was pretty noisy at night but that’s the only fault.

Excellent cottage, excellent area to visit and would definitely go back again .

It was a lovely peaceful location. Lots of space and privacy. Lovely cooking on an Aga. Lovely vineyard across the road, nice farm shop very close by with lots of locally produced food of a very high quality. Lovely cheese and cider left by the owner for us.

Everything was very well catered for. The only slight issue was it was a little warm at times with the Aga being on but there was a fan in the property but that was only a very small issue.

Relax in a Country Cottage with the ambiance of a rural setting in the West Country.

We stayed in a self catering cottage , breakfast n/a We were left a welcoming gift of local produce Cheddar cheese with a bottle of Somerset cider. The garden and surrounding area was rural and relaxing. The cottage accommodated our requirements.

Basic items in kitchen lacking, No draining rack for washing up items, only one tea towel, no hand towel in the kitchen Lack of recycling facilities. Only salt condiments available had to ask for pepper. One bedroom blind behind bed was broken. No wooden utensils to use for cooking only metal. Some of these comments had been mentioned before in the guest book however not taken on board. by host. Constructive criticism , please read your guests feedback may help in the future.

What can I say…..perfect in every way. Beautiful location for wildlife, cottage has been beautifully renovated with top quality furnishings including an aga. So so comfortable. Mine hosts greeted us and were very helpful.

A truly wonderful stay at Yew Tree Cottage and I will definitely stay again and make the most of the cottage’s excellent

Great location on a very well-kept working farm with sheep, and a private garden and stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. The cottage was warm and very well equipped, as well as being immaculately clean. Great amenities, and underfloor heating in the downstairs bathroom, plus the AGA cooker and a fantastic log burner which generated lots of heat for our early January stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to be self-sufficient, including a Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. While there is one king sized bed with premium bed-linen, Henry our host made sure we had bedding ready for the sofa bed for my son, which has a very soft mattress that was more than adequate for kids sharing.

Yew Tree Cottage is such a lovely, homely cottage with a gorgeous open garden and peaceful surroundings and views. This is a family run farm and close by to Glastonbury, which is around 20 mins away in the car. The owner and son were very friendly and accommodating. Such a lovely stay!

Fabulous property! Very comfortable, with the added surprise of an Aga, which not only was superb for cooking, but also kept the cottage very cosy indeed. Spacious ensuite. Beautiful garden and views. We were there for a wedding in East Pennard, so no distance at all to get there. Would visit again.

A Quality Cottage in a beautiful setting with great hosts!

It was a lovely house that was tastefully decorated and very cosy. We are a family with 2 little boys and they really enjoyed the space, the outside garden and going to see the chickens and the sheep. The hosts were very welcoming and have another property which is more contemporary and we will be booking that for next time.
