Longbridge Cottage

The cottage was just what we wanted. Clean, comfortable and well appointed in a good location, in walking distance from the main street. Small and quaint, but plenty big enough for a couple. We enjoyed sitting outside in the lovely, quiet garden space in the evening. The private parking space was an added bonus for us.

As the weather was so hot a fan would have been useful in the bedroom.

The cottage, courtyard and roof terrace were fantastic. There is everything there that you need for a wonderful stay and the surrounding area is great to explore.

Not a dislike as such, but could use better lighting in the kitchen area. Obviously it's a cottage but just some extra for prep and cooking.

Location is beautiful. Property was tucked away, yet close to shops and lovely walks. Ideal for us as close to daughter’s house. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was right for me and my husband

Good location to visit Cheddar Gorge. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom clean. Interesting cottage but very small. A little Christmas tree was a nice touch.

The night motion lights on the stairs were coming on at night randomly. Had to go downstairs at night to use the bathroom and it didn't feel safe. The stairs are steep and we both nearly fell at the bottom step. Sofa and dining chairs uncomfortable & worn out. Place had spider webbs above our bed. We may have got unlucky and arrived after the place was vacant for some time, as it smelled musty also. The parking space was on a driveway, but the driveway was out of sight, outside the gate.
