The Granary

Great location, well appointed and thoughtfully appointed, comfy beds, very spacious.

The property was lovely inside and out. All the mod-cons. It was self-catering but on arrival there was a bowl with fresh free-range eggs (lovely gesture). It was in the countryside, on a working farm. Nice and quiet (except for the peacocks, lol) and within 3 miles of Abergavenny. Other towns were within easy driving distance.

Internet was a little slow, but as we were on holiday, that didn't matter much.

It is so quiet and peaceful. Lovely field next to us so our dog can have a great time running and playing. We even saw beautiful peacocks standing on the roof our car. It is just wonderful.

The WiFi is a little weak but it actually allowed us to spend more time with families taking and playing board games instead of watching phones all the time.

Enough space for 6 adults and 2 dogs.

Kitchen utensils require updating as knives very unusable as we ended up using a Swiss Army knife to cut vegetables, we needed more tableware as not enough for 6 people especially if renting out over a Xmas period and mattress in 3rd bedroom was not comfy we ended up buying a bed topper. It’s a shame no info was given during the booking of the great use of the squash court on site. The folder of info in the cottage could’ve done with more info!
