Good first night in France.

Very comfortable bed. Toilet separate from bathroom. Two chairs to sit in. Great albeit pricey restaurant on site. Nice country location on river with scenic water mill. Note reception is in the adjacent hotel & restaurant complex about 100 metres away. Car parking on site. Easy drive from CDG airport.

Narrow, slippery ( due rain ) spiral staircase to room. Tricky with luggage. Hand held shower over bath not the best.

Nice but could be really nice if had attention to detail

Communication about where the reception was .was very lacking .after a phone call we eventually saw someone.when we got in our room first impression was very nice room .but the toilet flush was constantly running water .the shower was just a hose on the taps in the very small bath .The armchairs to sit in were very uncomfortable.i think the cushions had had there day .The location was beautiful but nothing in the whole area we were staying was fixed or finished properly .they seem to be doing odd bits here and there .if they did one thing at a time it would be a lovely place instead it looks like sticking lipstick on a pig .

Lovely location but has some issues

Charming room in a quiet and cute area. It came with a bathtub and lots of cosy funiture. Very picturesque. The breakfast is great and generous. Also loved the cow postcards at the reception.

There wasnt enough hot water for two people to take a shower. Communication with the reception was tricky. A simple message via the app or a note at the door or in the room would have saved us several calls as it wasnt clear where the reception or the breakfast room were or how to check in when we arrived late due to the weather.

Peaceful country retreat.

Peaceful country surroundings and good food and attentive staff at the restaurant at Moulin de Fourges. Quaint building. Breakfast was very nice.

I arrived mid afternoon and had not had any instructions about check in. The property is part of the Moulin des Forges so you need to go to reception to collect the key. This might be a problem if you were cycling and arrived late as it really wasn't clear and I had received no reply to several messages via Booking.com asking about check in. No TV in room and patchy WiFi in the room - I had to stand near the door for it to work properly! No dedicated bike storage but found somewhere (Avenue Verte).

Vintage country house next to a river in an expansive green area

Nestled in the countryside, this old house is fitted with antique furniture. You really feel like you have stepped into the 1800’s…only with hot water and WiFi. The breakfast was varied and the coffee was delicious.

It was not intuitive to figure out how to get to the check in, but we arrived about an hour after the check-in time, so that could have been the reason. The staff accommodated our late arrival and we’re friendly.

Beautiful and characteristic place. Comfortable and spacious. We had breakfast in the mill nearby, which is very beautiful.

I couldn’t find the air drier and there was neither shampoo nor shower gel.

The room was comfortable and came with kettle and coffee maker. The cleanliness level was good and sheets clean.

The hot water only lasted for a few minutes. Which meant that the bath was only ankle deep. There was also a large hole under the bath, not sure why?

it does need a deep cleaning though - there is a lot of dust under the bed and on the cabinets. we also found three paper cups thrown beside the sofa by previous guests apparently. they were pretty visible but still left there.

Tapis mal placé dans la pièce qui se soulève et se replie facilement pouvant provoquer une chute. Pas de télévision. Prévoir un peu plus de cintre (deux seulement. Accès pas facile pour elle chercher les clés d'un bout à l'autre.

Cadre dans la nature très agréable. Personnel aimable. Parking idéal pour moto. Celle-ci est en sécurité. Petit déjeuner complet.

Qualité de la salle d'eau - chambre avec baignoire et douche annexée MAIS la douche ne fonctionne pas (mécanisme cassé)puis essai de prendre un bain mais après quelques centimètres d'eau dans le fond de la baignoire, il ne coulait plus que de l'eau froide. Bref impossible de se laver complètement et encore moins les cheveux. Tablette en verre au-dessus de l'évier non nettoyée: trace de poussières, de poils et de savon après un rasage. C'est la première que nous sortons le matin d'un hôtel en se nettoyant avec des lingettes A noter: geste commercial en nous faisant une réduction sur la facture.
