Maison Coquelin - Adults Only

Lovely Hotel and delightful Garden which was only 15 minutes Taxi ride to Monet’s Garden. We enjoyed walking into the town of La Roche Guyon and visiting the nearby historic Chateau La Roche Guyon. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed and we enjoyed our continental breakfast and evening meals in the Hotel Restaurant which is attached to the Hotel. Will definitely be back. I was a little worried when I pulled into town as it is a very old town. that end of the street doesn’t look like much. There is easy parking right at the building. The proprietor was very friendly and the inside is all very clean and modern. It was a great surprise. I had a window out the back and there was a full moon and it was a wonderful evening. They don’t serve dinner, but breakfast was very good. For dinner I recommend going down the road across from the castle and have dinner by the river at that hotel restaurant. ( I forget the name). That is a beautiful spot by the river.

Hundred percent recommend staying with Arthur at his lovely property which was built by a famous French pastry chef. Extremely clean, parking on site for free and comfortable common spaces to linger, The included breakfast is delicious including croissants, bread, homemade apricot jam, fresh fruit, local yogurt. This is a very good location for visiting Giverny – Claude Monet. Host is gracious and friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!
